The car access wasn’t great, we often couldn’t get in with the car( not the owners fault) locals parking in the access road. The some of the windows could be fixed or renewed(especially the bathroom one upstairs)

The location was great. It was right on the river and a very close to the local shops and cafes etc. The house was lovely, it had everything we needed for our stay and the welcome pack of coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits were a lovely touch.

As travellers from overseas, we found it annoying to have to purchase garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, and toilet paper for our stay. We could have hand washed everything but would have needed to buy dishwashing liquid as well. I really think that enough of these items should be supplied for the duration of the stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Stavely. The house was roomy enough for the 2 of us and was stocked with most things we needed. Very close to the shops and restaurants/pubs. The little deck was great for an afternoon relaxing.

the parking was tricky with the neighbours boat, pick up truck and digger in the way and the narrow route in; the beds were not as comfy as foam mattresses would have been, would be better if upstairs bathroom had proper over bath shower with curtain

lovely location with the balcony with river underneath, had everything you would need in the cottage, well thought out for rental market, liked the welcome pack with local coffee

Property advertises allocated parking but for at least 80% of the time the property next door parked their car in the space and in such a way so as not to allow us to park our very small car. They have a decking area in front of their property which I suspect is where they are supposed to park. We gave up in the end and parked in the village. It was a niggle for us but could be an issue if you want/need your car directly outside the property. Balcony was broken (which had previously been reported). The management company assured me it would be sorted.

The location in Staveley was excellent. Staveley is a wonderful, thriving village. Property was lovely - great rain shower, bath and very comfortable bed. It was really peaceful with only the sound of the river to break the silence. I recommend. We really hope to be able to return sometime soon.

Struggled with parking even on the street.bins were full even before start of the week.

Great location, public transport within easy walking distance. Local amenities really good . We used the food store, post office, pubs, chippy, butchers, good stock and variation.

Needs a good deep clean. Parking was awkward.
