The living room is chilly, so the wood stove is also a big bonus. The ash pan under the wood stove was full. As it was the 1st time I visited. There is no ash bucket to empty it into, which would solve the problem. There is no mirror above the bathroom sink - it's behind you. There is no shelf or table by the bathroom sink, no shelf in the shower. A few small changes could make this into a 5 star place. You'd want for nothing.

River just steps from the front door, lots of places to eat, art shops, bookstores and 2nd hand shops to entertain you as well as water sports and places to wander. Loved the big TV in the master bedroom - with Netflix - a big bonus. This is an easy place to stay.

Perfect location for walking the Offa's Dyke and close into town. Good kitchen and comfortable rooms. Easy check in and hosts were friendly and responsive to messages.

Read the instructions to the location of the property. They are specific. Abbey square is a lane way next to the shop , basically directly opposite the bridge.

Location second to none. Very modern renovation with all new appliances except the toaster. Beds were good. Scored free park just up the road as indicated in booking. Missed out the next night.

There is nothing to dislike about Abbey Cottage.

Abbey Cottage is well situated in a quiet location right in the town of Llangollen, close to the shops and restaurants. Everything you need is less than five minutes away. The cottage itself is well presented, cosy, clean and has all the facilities you would require. It's a great home away from home for relaxing and sightseeing. I would highly recommend the cottage and would stay there again.

No parking and a pain to recharge parking next morning. A little expensive. Key box difficult to access as high up can't see well.

Lovely little cottage hidden away from the main street but still very central with several parking option nearby. We were a group of friends on a road trip, so only stayed here for one night this time, but this cozy cottage would be ideal for a longer stay.

Maybe a lamp in the smaller bedroom and some shelves for clothing. Living room could do with another side table and maybe a lamp. This is being very picky as it is very hard to fault Abbey Cottage. A delightful stay!

Beautiful cosy cottage, parked the car and then walked everywhere. Local carpark was only £4 per day! The Cottage had a very well equipped kitchen and the bathroom was spotless. The owner delivered logs so we had a cosy fire in the evening. Local restaurants were great and very reasonable.

The only negative was that we were suddenly woken very early the next morning by EXTREMELY loud drilling and banging as the terrace cottage next door is currently being renovated. This is obviously not the owners fault but I'm just being honest, it was a bit of a nuisance to say the least. If you have bags or cases to take in It's not easy to pull up outside on the busy main road due to parking restrictions and traffic. We had to ask permission to park in the railway station opposite for a few minutes to unload the car. Parking was a five minute walk from the house and costs £4.20 per day.

The cottage and location were great. It was spotlessly clean throughout and extremely well presented. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the log burner. The owners left us plenty of wood, kindling, firelighters and matches to last a few days. Kelly was a lovely host and her communications were great. We would definitely stay in this cottage again.

Lovely cottage in the centre of Llangollen. Inside we had all we needed, tv, log fire, board games, kitchen. All rooms were clean and well presented. Communication was clear and prompt. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

Lovely little cottage, so comfy and cosy. We loved the log burner! Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen and bathroom looked brand new! We had everything we needed and our hosts were so kind and helpful. Next time we visit Llangollen we won’t be looking for anywhere else!

Did not like that the heating thermostat had a lockbox on so was set to the owners temperature this is the only property I have rented in 9 months with the heating out of your control. The property is paid for, for your stay so I should be in control for my stay felt a bit like a child.

Very clean and comfortable could not fault one of the best places I've stayed in 9 months working away from home.
