Breakfast choices could have been a little better, Apple and Orange juices had run out but not replaced whilst i was eating breakfast.

Room was fine, bathroom was fine, breakfast was fine, all in all it was fine.

Pleasant stay despite small room with no window

    • Small Single Room
    • Stayed 4 nights

My room (number 12) didn't have a real window, only a very small one high up next to the ceiling, in contrast with the photos of the room on booking.com that do show a full size window and plenty of space. While it did let in some natural light, it wasn't much. The room description also mentions that the size of the room would be 15 m2 whereas mine clearly was a very small room, less than 10 m2. Update your photos and descriptions! The shower was very small and the water temperature was difficult to adjust.

The breakfast was very good, the chef goes an extra mile satisfying your request. The location is good, there's a bus stop 5 minutes away on foot and the town is lovely.

Those rooms are so hot! Honestly felt like I was melting and with my health condition I'm not great in heat. Even with the window open and the fan on. A fellow guest told me she had air con in her room, so I'll be asking for that one next time!

I really like the location of it and the price

Had difficulty with WiFi signal but didn’t bother us too much. Receptacle for toothbrushes would be a nice addition otherwise had all we needed, thank you

Rooms a very dull beige. Only complaint I have is, I asked in advance if Soya milk would be available, and they advised it wouldn’t be an issue as they offer soya milk, unfortunately they didn’t have any for the duration of our stay,

Great location, friendly staff, room comfortable, food good: offered some vegetarian and vegan options

Breakfast included, parking available, location, the staff were brilliant, particularly Dylan who was polite, friendly and helpful, also the lady on reception. Name badges for staff would be really helpful. Our stay was good value for money.

It wasn’t as plush as we thought it would be . We struggled to get parking as it is also a restaurant and spaces were taken up by customers of restaurant only.

We thought it was a boutique hotel and that we had got a bargain deal. Staff were very friendly but it did seem short staffed too.

Car parking out back is limited, and especially bad if residents park selfishly. Parking is possible on the street at the front but be careful of arrival and departure times.

Room was very clean and cosy with a nice big TV. Bed was comfy, breakfast had a good selection. Bar had a pleasant atmosphere and good beer.

This is my third stay in a year as my son lives locally and my work Head Office is 35 mins away. We love Kenilworth and the Abbey Field. This time the restaurant was not as good as before. 'Crouton' in son's dish was inedible. Waitress tried to justify this which made the matter worse. We don't believe this was her fault but it's possible what she had been told to say by Chef perhaps.

Excellent room, service, very clean, comfortable. Lovely vibe. Reception and bar staff exceptional

Our ground floor room (room 1) was adjacent to a corridor where we were awoken by staff banging doors early in the morning and we were treated to a builder's mobile phone conversation through the thin wall. Also, on our second night, in the bar (around 10.00 pm) a group of loud drunken men (friends of the barman, it appeared) shouting and swearing (apparently also waiting for a takeaway they had ordered — is that allowed?) oblivious to anyone else's presence. Obviously, we left — no quiet corner was available to avoid them. It was a very unpleasant experience, not least because the barman was apparently unconcerned. It wasn't obvious how to change the temperature in the room (mind you, we could have asked).

The bed and pillows were comfy, bar/restaurant/lounge areas were satisfactory (though we did not eat there). Good to have an onsite car park, though it's quite narrow and the spaces are limited (we had no problem finding a space each night, but only just).
