Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere were hairs of varying length on the beds before we even got in them. There was a flickering light above one bed that obviously wasn't kept on. Honestly I think the room would benefit from having one bed instead of two, make the one a double and in place of the 2nd bed, have a couple of chairs and table.
Seamless experience getting in and out of the room. The beds were solid quality in terms of sleep; the bathroom was decent which is usually the make or break for me.

United KingdomVery difficult to call the place, we were going to arrive a few minutes late for check in so we called to advise them but were unable to get through to the specific hotel, the automated system made it more difficult and when we did get connected eventually the phone just rang out. When we arrived the doors were closed and we couldn't get in. Thankfully upon calling again the night porter picked up and we got in but we thought we were stranded at first! Room quite small but clean and comfortable enough.
Right next to Westfield for parking, 4 mins walk to the tube station.

Location was very good, near shops and transport. The room was tidy and clean. Also, the hotel staff was very responsive when I asked them for a receipt later: I had to leave before collecting it, and it is good to have a responsive hotel even after you left the place.

United Kingdomtoilet stink seat broken and cause up in top I got up out bead hit my head on ceiling it low. i am diabetic I cannot pick infection up yes bed made up nice but toilet second time I come drain stink it need airfresher there .heating was not working I was so cold turn raditor still not hot .I had get up put my coat on to get back in bed. three I stay I hardly sleep .I spoke boss first time about how has sleep in hale dirty toilet drain still he fox gave discount I never no discount .main thing fix the stuff i will contact environmental or inspector cqc.dont to do that .I am not spitefully keep business thing need dealt with
I love place near my activities conference for work know lot hotels in shepherds here lighted across road from.westfield and train .but twice stay no spoon make tea toilet stinking the drain this on in Feb. I gone sence the room all way 16 at very top if know won't come as no lift.then this toilet seat not position needs fixing this one drain stink all though door shut ceiling so low hit head twice no water in room unless yu catch water from toilet to fill kettle to make tea .at least should drinking water in room .health and safety. I am diabetic .I spoke manager about how stink room was cause toilet .went in to this one toilet should have airfresher or something make bathroom.fresh as yu come in door shut room stinks had sleep like this this second room I stay here often i have change venue if no change don't make money u can cut corner.tea bags should put in container not just on tray anybody touch u come along have touch open up like that.there cupboard door of just lean up as move table door fell of bunch old rubbish in there it not inviting place need upgrading u come to.place smell should inviting .I want comfort not to finding fault work hard my money as nurse I will like recommended others so far standard need uplift a bit.
