Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe found it uncomfortable, with the charm of an empty student flat, or a dentist's waiting room. Fridge needs cleaning, kettle greasy, smeary surfaces. The narrow sofa is hard; it feels like perching on a bench or a pew, so we ended up sat on the dining chairs instead. Nowhere comfy to relax in the evening. Mattresses tolerable though you can feel springs, and bedrooms have no shelves, cupboards or drawers, just hanging rails. I travel for work often and this place was below par.
Central location. Has a dishwasher, two double beds. It is affordable (though note additional deposit), quiet overnight (midweek). Decent shower.

United KingdomThere were a few issues that the renter assures me will be addressed so I won't go into them here because overall the flat was a good standard. However, one thing future guests should note is that there is a rule prohibiting anyone additional from entering the flat (monitored via cctv at the entrance) and also no noise after 9pm. So maybe this place is better for people on business trips by themselves than a family on holiday. We have a young child so couldn't really keep them up late sat in a pub/restaurant. But we also have friends in Abingdon/Oxford and it would have been nice to invite them in for a coffee during the daytime or a quiet gathering in the evening. I think this undermined the flexibility we were expecting from a self-catered apartment. Also, if you have a car then free parking becomes a bit of a logistical puzzle during the daytime. You can park for free overnight but would then need to either move the car to further away or pay to leave the car in one place.
The apartment block was quiet and the other residents respectful of the no noise after 9pm rule. Great central location close to Abingdon town centre I highly recommend breakfasts at R&R and a visit to Mostly Books around the corner. There's buses regularly into Oxford from just round the corner every 20mins.
