Appearance of hotel from outside was terrible. . The receptionist was very rude when checking in very abrupt.also in need of new carpets in room dirty too ..

Free car parking location was good for beach .

Found male reception not helpful .female reception lady peasant and helpful . Also staff in dining room . Swimming pool shut . Yes there was voucher to go to the swimming pool across road . Was shut when we went there . Or raining so inconvenient

the rooms all smelled like urine. not the bathroom but the room itself which makes me think the smell is in the carpet. there was not air con so the windows had to be open which would cause the doors to rattle during the night and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom to lift up. because of the smell you have to keep the window open all night which means getting woken up by seagulls and cats. there was one day I went for breakfast and someone had found mouldy bread in the bread basket they left it on the side but I think if someone checked the breakfast area regularly to make sure that mouldy bread isn't left in the basket or next to it. it doesn't give the best impression of the breakfast if you see that.

the bed and the location. the bathroom was very clean, the sheets on the bed were clean too

Getting very shabby. So many things broken or damaged. Wallpaper starting to peel in many places. Pool still not in use

Lots of issues with rooms bath plug broken one of the sockets made worrying noises when plugged in Also when I first arrived I was given the key to a room already occupied! (Fixed quickly but not great either for me or their security)

Tatty doing a refurb but the standard of work is awful not enough staff particularly in bar out side looks awful pool not open how long does it take to get a pump it’s needs significant money spent

Pity the hotel swimming pool was out of action but there is leisure centre next door

Beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great as we were visiting family and friends. Access to beach and countryside also very good as we had a dog with us.

Lift and pool broken

The pool but it wasn't working....the location and the rooms were big

The only negative is that the pool and leisure area were not operational, we could get passes for the leisure facilities in the next building but would have preferred to use in the hotel 🏨, it was one of the facilities we were looking forward to using.

We were very happy with the location, across the road from the beach 🏖️. Plenty of reasonably priced public transport for people not wanting to drive 😊. The outside of the building was not very appealing but the inside of the hotel was clean, tidy, nicely decorated and the staff were very helpful.

The key to one of our rooms did not work. So, I had to go to reception to open the door every time. Was not ideal with little children. It was going to be fixed in the morning though.

The beach on the door step was beautiful, with lots of grassy areas for kids to play on.

Obviously the hotel's seen better days and could do with a refurb.

I liked most things. The evening food was great, the breakfasts not so much. The guy in the bar in the evenings was wonderful. Funny, informative, engaging. An asset to the hotel.

Sadly it all needs updating in my room the Rian came in the window frame and we had terrible wind which kept blowing the panels in bathroom up and banging down

Cleanliness standards didn't meet our expectations.

Very outdated place and the exterior looks a bit rough. The one elevator that was working was very rarely actually coming and that was a bit rough for our elderly dog, considering our room was at the last story. Did not appreciate being quoted £30 for the updates (2x sea view and one dog) and was charged £40 in the end and told we should have paid even more although we received tons of emails and messaged the property beforehand as well for all we wanted. Did not really understand why the price increase when asked. Bit disappointing to be fair..

Good view, nice breakfast and accessible parking. Staff were very nice. The room was clean.

Since our first visit around 6 years ago, it's gone down in that there are no Sunday lunches now, nor food during the lunch time. Only breakfast and evening meals. Unfortunately we had a noisy family which disturbed us on evening but that can't be helped and again a disco on another evening but again can't be helped.

Location. So near the beach, shop and bus stop nearby and several eating places. On the whole staff friendly and helpful.

The furniture in the room was a bit dated and worn, could do with being updated. This did not impact our stay. It would have been better if there was a greater choice of menu items.

Location was excellent and we had a lovely spacious room. Staff were very helpful snd friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely, great service.

On checking in, the receptionist was not very welcoming at all. In fact, she was quite miserable even when a colleague was talking to her.

The room was clean but very stuffy. Would have been good if they had kept the window open as it was a very hot day. The breakfast was lovely.

Great beachside location for a swim in the sea. Lovely vintage interior and friendly staff.
