The hot breakfasts were unfortunately pre ordered and therefore pre cooked. This breakfast was sadly below par for a establishment of this quality. It will not however not deter us from returning

Aberllynfi House is situated on the beautiful River Wye with stunning scenery around. It was a great base for a multitude of activities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive with great attention to the details and information given. The guest house was a beautiful period property with charm, warmth and gentle decor.

When booking this, it clearly stated that we would pay at the property but payment (pre authorisation) took place the same day.

Could have had a small jug of fresh milk in the fridge, in bedroom (as there was a fridge in the room) for tea and coffees but this is just a little thing we would have liked.

Everything. View, beautiful large bedroom. Arrived in the dark to be greeted by a house decorated and lit up for Christmas. It made an excellent first impression. The cooked breakfast was well cooked and a good variety on offer. The shower was good, had the internet available for tv and charging sockets. There was also drafts and chess available to play (outside our room) which we did and the hostess was friendly and helpful.

Dinner can be a bit challenging as there are not many places in the village that serve dinner, and you need to book.

This guest house has beautiful views. It is well appointed and comfortable. The management is friendly and the breakfast was superb. It is worth staying here if you are planning to be in the area.

Bit of traffic noise but calmed down at nighttime.

Great sized room in a lovely old house fairly close to Hay on Wye. Lovely breakfast in the atmospheric dining room overlooking the river. Hosts were helpful and friendly.

Everything was excellent. It's a shame that Tina and Dave are not allowed to erect a sign on the opposite side of the road from their entrance, which would make Aberlynnfi easier to find for visitors coming from the Hay-on-Wye direction.

The breakfast and the location were both excellent. The view from one of the the breakfast room windows looked like a painting by John Constable. Aberllynfi is ideally situated, with beautiful walks in all directions.

We enjoyed our stay very much, very idyllic location by the river. Breakfast was prepared individually and delicious. The host was really nice and had good tips for things to do in the area. There is a really great pub in the neighbourhood.

Wow what a beautiful location. Stayed here with my dad for a fishing trip and it did not disappoint. Tina and Dave were great, all the other guests were lovely and I really can’t fault it.

Nothing about the guesthouse itself, but would recommend for drivers as public transport in the area isn't the most reliable.

It was very comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast was also lovely and there is a great choice. The hosts were very informative about things to do in the local area with taxi and restaurant recommendations which were very useful.
