Lovely owners, friendly but professional, keeping sensible covid precautions without making you feel a nuisance. The area is absolutely lovely & would recommend The Old Barn just down the road for meals. Highly recommend this place.

I didn’t realise the road was quite so close and the road was in use through the day but it quietened down at night so did not disturb our sleep

Breakfast was fantastic the food, the views, the morning check in with the owner all were wonderful. We never felt like anything was too much trouble and felt like we could come and go as we please sit in the gardens never feeling as if we were trespassing on their time or home. The room was very clean the fridge with fresh milk was a lovely extra. The bathroom was decorated to a high standard

It’s a shame the room didn’t have a bath after a long day hiking but plenty of room to relax and a really lovely shower room.

We had such a lovely 4 night stay at this b&b. The location was great for hiking in the Brecon Beacons and visiting Hay on Wye and Brecon. Breakfast was available to have in the room which was a lovely touch and continental options as well as brilliant cooked options including bacon, egg and sausage bap, porridge and smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Tina and Dave lovely hosts too and nothing was too much to ask.

Couple of spider webs around the ceiling edges which upset my wife a little bit, but apart from that it was fine.

Breakfast was superb, delivered to our table in a wooden box with everything we ordered...Views from our bedroom window were stunning right across a bend in the river Llynfi...Tina and Dave were excellent hosts and always had time for a chat in the mornings.

Attended for 'mini-moon' was greeted warmly and given ideas about the local area. Room was large and contained a comfy bed. Large outdoor space that backs onto a freshwater stream that was beautiful to swim in. Amazing breakfast. A good central point to be able to drive to various wonders of Brecon Beacons.

Couple of minor points. Toilet seat had to be manoeuvred to stay up, and door to room a tad ill-fitting. Had to be pulled and held to enable key to turn in lock. One major point. Whilst bed was comfortable, the pillows were awful; thin and hard. Very uncomfortable pillows.

Location excellent; breakfast good choice and served promptly and safely (re Covid). Owners delightful people. Lovely old house, well decorated. Shower excellent.

It is on a main road, so the noise is audible from the house and gardens. Traffic does calm down at night.

Aberllynfi is a period house that is beautifully kept and a very elegant property. It has between 2-3 acres of grounds which guests are free to use and enjoy. Breakfasts can be taken outside if desired and guests can bring back takeaways to eat in the dining room or outside. Exceptionally Covid safe, without spoiling your holiday. Breakfasts are delicious and dietary requirements are very well catered for, if you mention these in advance. Tina and Dave are extremely friendly and accommodating and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Location is a bit too near a busy road, so not as quiet as I had expected. Covid precautions for serving breakfast seemed a little OTT. Would have been nice to have wholemeal bread with breakfast, and for the pack lunch.

Very comfortable and elegant house - bedroom was lovely. Bed very comfortable, lovely bathroom. Lovely gardens overlooking the river. Very friendly reception when we arrived; clear explanation of where to find everything.

Overcharging for fruit and biscuits, if someone required a snack. £1 for a banana, for example. The breakfast menu was disappointing, because the pre COVID menu was still on the website. There was little variety and toast wasn’t offered. So very sparse choice, for the price we paid.

The room, views, having breakfast in the garden and the platter provided for our supper.

We had a lovely relaxing 2 night stay. We particularly enjoyed breakfast which was brought to our room in a gorgeous hamper, lovely touch. Our room was spotless and the grounds were lovely to sit in and look at the river.
