It was dusty and the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. The kitchen was not clean, but it was good to have necessary dishes in the room. It was cheap though.

I'm not sure the property is secure, as it's self check-in and the front door was never locked (even though the check-in guide says it will be locked during the night). Each room has its own key and bolt on the door though. We had some random come knocking on our door looking for a guest who must have stayed in the room previously, but the person knocking wasn't staying at the property. Must have just come in the unlocked front door. It could be quite loud at night with other people running up and down the wooden stairs at all hours. It's a non-smoking property but someone was smoking in their room which filled the upper floors with cigarette smoke, but luckily it didn't come into our room.

The location was excellent, a short walk from the train station, and with plenty of food on the nearby high street. The room was cozy and nicely decorated, with all you need for a short stay including fridge, kettle, cups and instant coffee. There was plenty of storage space for our luggage, and there was a working smart TV and wifi. Although this property is a self check-in/out, we did meet the host briefly as we walked past the adjoining property, and he gave us a warm welcome. Overall a cheap and cheerful place to stay.

Little noisy with door banging at times but did not affect my stay.

The owners were really friendly and helpful with great communication. Everywhere was clean and the flat had all the essentials. Really cosy. Was travelling alone and felt safe .

The bathroom was very small, even in the flat. It was also on two levels so my husband had to have one foot of one step and the other on a different step to use the loo 😂 your knees will touch the wall if you sit on the loo. The kitchen had hardly anything! We had one small mug between us, a small pan and some cutlery, no knives. They really need to stock the kitchen with basic essentials but they were very quick to respond and provide us with what we needed when we asked.

The host was lovely. He checked us into our room but there was no way my 6'4 husband would be able to fit in the bathroom and they upgraded us to the flat, free of charge, which we were sooo appreciative of. The bed was soooooooo comfortable. Best sleep I've had on ages. The shower is awesome. Good space and heat. Good pressure.

Easy free parking, kitchen facilities and set up is basically very much like student accommodation but fine for price. Good location and really enjoyed the great local Witch Kings bar such a friendly atmosphere.

For us it was a very good location,we used only buses to go around, even it seems far from centre, in 20 minutes with bus 197 we arrived at Piccadilly Gardens. Our room was small, with a private bathroom and a refrigerator, but enough for two persons , a few days with a budget accomodation.The host is very kind and always respond.

I have a knee injury so struggled with the step into the building and also the stairs inside are pretty steep… so although it was good physio it might be something worth knowing if this could be an issue for you? Despite this I still chose to stay an extra night so it wouldn’t put me off from staying here again.

Such a warm and welcoming apartment. Lovely hot, powerful shower. Nice, homely feel and comfortable bed. Great location. Feels like a safe, family area. Never had a problem with on street parking and great transport links. There’s a shared kitchen on the middle floor so with the fridge in the apartment, self catering is easy.

During the night I felt some noise from around the property. In addition, there is a lot of noise from other guests entering in the hall at night.

I really liked the room. It was very comfortable and the TV had good internet connection. The host also left some cookies and tea for me!

Really minor but given the cold weather it wasn't ideal have to take of my shoes to walk the through the hallway upon arrival and the following frosty morning.

Nice cosy room with all the amenities and more. property Managers even stopped by to check in and see if everything was alright.

Extremely soft, uncomfortable bed. Unclean everywhere, greasy kitchen, sticky floor, dirty shower and toilet with a wet towel left for me. When I arrived there was no one to tell me which room I was in, so I waited around for an hour trying to call the host but it wouldn't connect. I started searching for other hotels in the area because in all honesty, the property was grimy throughout and not a pleasant experience. Eventually, I found my room by opening doors and hoping for the best. Whoever took the photos for the advert must be a miracle worker, because it is nothing like advertised.
