Rather noisy with other house Guests returning late in evening. Very little wall insulation to prevent noise disturbances

There was a little bit of a cold draught coming through the window so the room was a little on the cold side. There was a heater in the room and extra covers were provided so we still managed to sleep okay. There was only powdered milk in the room for tea and coffee which didn't taste the best to be honest.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very close to the event we were attending so it was ideal. The beds were comfortable, shower nice and warm and the breakfast was nice.

A sofa and TV in the lounge of Lillian just like Alba would be fantastic.

Very pleasant stay - picturesque stone building with friendly owners . Delicious continental or English breakfast available upon request. The owners were very knowledgeble and helpful. Im staying here the next time I travel!!

No dislike - just a little way from centre but on bus route; several buses travel along King Street

Alba host was very welcoming. After check-in was shown facilities and given keys for personal use whilst at the Guest House. Excellent facilities through out. Great value for money rate which includes breakfast. Selection of Cereals and fruit plus full hot breakfast. On Main Road a little away from city centre - about 15/20 minutes walk. Quiet location. Aberdeen is city full of history, culture and architecture. Would highly recommend a visit to the city and the Alba Guest House.

It's not that I didn't like it but just as a caution to others that there are shared bathrooms. But, being a converted house rather than tailor-made hotel, that is going to be the case. No problem for me but could put others off.

The breakfast was good, all freshly cooked to order as well as a selection of cereals. The location on King Street is perfect - a five minute walk to the football ground in one direction and the high street in the other direction. The beach is also only a short distance away.

Unfortunately the double bed was quite small, so we had to use the second bed in the room as well. But for one person the bed was comfortable then. :)

Only 2 downsides to this house. Firstly the bedroom was very cold even with the heating on I ended up having to sleep with my jumper on. Secondly, the mattress was very hard, which for me made it pretty uncomfortable. Other than this it was a brillant place to stay.

Loved how friendly the owners were, showed me around and let me know about what time breakfast is served and what food items would be available. Room was also great size for such a cheap price. Not many negatives to the stay at all.
