Excellent host and a very comfortable in a great location

The room was perfectly clean with lovely homemade cakes and tea and coffee making equipment - very welcome after a long journey. The bed was super comfortable, we had an excellent nights sleep. Chrissy made us a fabulous multi-course breakfast which set us up beautifully for the day. Great location for free parking, exploring Harborne, the University and Hospital. Lots of lovely restaurants and cafe's in the area.

That I didn’t get to meet the dog!

It’s like a home away from home. Clean and tidy, comfy bed, and a little cake in the room on arrival alongside tea/coffee making bits with fresh milk provided. Chrissie is a fantastic host with a lush personality and she made me feel like an old friend. Nothing was too much trouble, Chrissie even satisfied my craving for scrambled egg on the second morning. Great location with the high street a short walking distance away where there’s plenty of places to eat. Highly recommend Rudy’s if you like pizza. Easy to get an Uber into the city centre, perfect for getting to and from where I needed to be.

I honestly have no negative comments about our stay.

EVERYTHING! I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed or wanted was provided for us. Chrissy was a fabulous host. The accommodations were spotless. The pictures did not really do our room justice. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were roomy and so comfortable. Breakfast was a gourmet meal. Each day we were served something different. It was a feast! The location was great. An easy walk to stores, restaurants and buses. Honestly, we hated to leave. You are missing out if you don’t book a stay here.

Albany House is an absolutely beautiful house in an excellent location. We were welcomed by Chrissie who was lovely. We had a lovely stay and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you so much. We will definitely return when we next visit Birmingham.

A desk in the bedroom could be useful, but I used the big table in the common room. Finding a taxi proved to be difficult, but the bus took me to the railway station "University".

Christine is a very very good host. The rooms are really nice. The area is well served by buses and full of restaurants of different kinds and prices, moreover it is very quite, but very far from the city centre.

No lock on my bedroom door. Felt a bit strange but luckly I was only staying for one night and didn't leave many valubles in the room when i went out for the evening.

The bed was comfortable and gave me a good night sleep. The breakfast was lovely and straight forward . Bacon, mushrooms and homemade potato cake. Yogurt and sliced fruit. Tea and toast. It statisfied me, others may expect different choices.

Chrissie the host was quite frankly superb. Nothing was too much to ask. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning, at a time that suited my needs. The bedding & towels smelt amazing and nice little touches of the toiletries and hot drinks facilities. Massive TV with access to Netflix. Lovely & quiet - barely knew anyone else was staying! (I had the downstairs garden room). Great location with all the amenities you could ask for on the high street just a few minutes walk away.

The only constructive criticism I would have is that there was no bottled water in the room.

Chrissy is a lovely hostess, really friendly, warm and welcoming. We had lovely little touches such as home baked muffins sat waiting for us in the room, a range of beverages and a delicious breakfast prepared by chrissy. The home has a lovely character and beautifully clean and decorated. The bed was so comfortable and gave me a lovely night’s sleep
