Fabulous rooms and location, very friendly staff, I will definitely be back!

The parking was a 5 minute walk away: not the fault of the business, but worth noting.

Everything: the rooms were clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The decor was gorgeous and gave a really decadent feel to our stay. We had a bath in our bedroom, which we didn't use but made the room look very glamorous. There was also a separate bathroom with a shower that we did use! This was really well equipped with everything you could need. The view over the river was beautiful and there was very little noise from the street and the bar below us. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the location was central to Bedford town. We will definitely use Albero Rooms again.

No window to open in room 5 and the air con wasn’t great but still had a good nights sleep.

The location was great, just through the town by the river. The rooms were lovely, decor was quirky. Lovely spacious bathroom with a bath in the bedroom. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Only improvement for me would be the addition of a mirror that lights up. It was a bit difficult getting ready in the evening with the existing lighting.

Room was beautiful & clean with views along the river. Bathroom was amazing & the bath was huge! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved the decor overall. Food was superb. Would definitely stay here again.

Skylight instead of a window was a little strange.

Right on the river in a beautiful old school building. Gorgeous room number 5 with the biggest bath in it plus the best walk in shower in the bathroom. Great white cotton bedding. Lovely walk up the river in the morning to watch the rowers and geese. Good breakfast and very pleasant staff.

Not a single thing to dislike.

This place is just amazing. From checking in to our room with lovely polite, helpful staff, to a cosy sit down drink in a beautiful welcoming lounge. I need to talk about the rooms. The room was just the best, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with a wonderful view over the river. The bathroom was huge, with a beautiful roll top bath, walk in shower, 2 sinks, 2 mirrors and anything else you could possibly want. We will definitely be saying here again. Thank you to everyone at Albero lounge for an amazing stay.

The water pressure in the early mornings wasn’t optimal. I wasn’t aware that the notices on the table enabled one to get room services topped up. The parking situation wasn’t ideal, but fortunately I could use the hospital parking.

This is within easy walking distance if on contract to the Bedford South Wing Hospital. The geese, swan and sea gulls in the morning and evening was a sight to delight the heart! Quite serene surroundings with opulent rooms to make one feel pampered.

We loved everything about this property, attention to detail everywhere. All the staff go out of their way to help with any question or request you may have. The room and all areas are spotlessly clean, all the amenities we needed and we slept like babies in the bed. The star of the show is definitely the bath tub in the room overlooking the river. On checkout popped downstairs and finished our stay off with brunch, which was delicious. Returned home utterly relaxed and already thinking we will be staying here every time we visit

Unfortunately, they don't allow pets to stay. No room service, but you can get their takeaway service.

The room is warm and very welcoming, quirky, and unique. Large room and very quiet. Lovely big bathroom. Great view or the river. Perfect location, next to everything. Quality over quantity. They actually cleaned the room and restocked when we went out, which has never happened in other hotels. Amazing, we can't wait to stay again.

There was an issue with the heating in the bathroom and it was the coldest day of the year. These things happen just such a wonderful large bathroom shame didnt want to spend time in there

I absolutely love the decor in this place have stayed in two different rooms now and they are amazing. Staff are fantastic and friendly. As a lone traveller not a fan of eating alone, so the staff brought up my food so wonderful.

Deluxe room was very big with traditional decor completely keeping with building. So much nicer than usual generic hotel decor. My room (No 3) looked out onto river. was nice to see and hear rowers going by.

Location was fab - right on the river and close to the town centre. The bedroom was lovely - large, huge bed, great bathroom. Each room is individually decorated and it was amazing to stay somewhere that combined flair with comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
