Would have liked to have taken advantage of the good weather by using the outside sitting area but wasn’t very comfortable. The outside space could have done with a little tlc.

The property was perfect! Me and my partner loved it soo much! Definitely the best place we have ever stayed and will definitely be making another trip here, the fire place was soo cosy in the evenings, bathroom and kitchen looked brand new! Bed was soo comfy and the location was perfect, no outside noise and we felt soo peaceful living here, it’s worth every penny! The bottle of wine went down a treat!

Small thing, the fire wouldn’t light, we didn’t need it as the heating is powerful but it adds to a cozy few days away!

Beautiful cottage and ideally situated. The place is perfect, hot water, lovely baths, massive bed and a stones throw from everything cockermouth has to offer. We will definitely be rebooking. Thank you again!

Albion Cottage fulfilled all our needs so we honestly can’t really fault it. If we were to be really ‘picky,’ I’d say perhaps a better fitting sheet and mattress protector on the bed as it did slip off each night soon after getting into bed. To finish on a high though, this cottage provided an overall great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Albion Cottage. Can’t fault it really. It ticked all the boxes. Though we found it a little difficult to locate the property at first, Jonathan was very helpful and communicated well with us throughout. Good location near the town centre and great that we were able to take our chihuahua Minty as it can sometimes be difficult finding suitable holiday accommodation that take pets. Would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay in this comfortable and cosy cottage in Cockermouth. Thank you again Jonathan. 😊

The key safe was difficult to use. We have stayed in several properties with key safes and have never had a problems previously. This key safe was a more technical version and was not easy.

Really cute cottage with all the facilities you could require. Warm, clean and with a very hospitable host. Thank you for the complimentary bottle of red wine, milk and new IKEA Christmas tree - a lovely touch. Kitchen was well equipped. The location, in the centre of Cockermouth was ideal.

Loved everything about Albion Cottage. We've stayed in 20 or so places during this holiday and this one ticks all the boxes. Open fire place, comfortable bed, hot/fast shower, well equipped kitchen, great location and parking. The list goes on. The bottle of wine helped too!

quite a late check in time as standard 5pm but the owner did get us an earlier check in at 3pm which was much appreciated.

the location was fantastic and was nice and quiet, excellent facilities and a very comfortable bed, even provided us with complimentary bottle of wine and there was milk waiting for us in the fridge.

For some reason, we didn't receive the messages concerning the arrival details. However, once we contacted the owner, it was sorted out quickly, so no big deal.

Excellent location, off road car parking, cosy, clean. Host was very helpful in allowing us to arrive a little bit earlier than normal, and also acted quickly once he realised that we hadn't received the usual messages on how to get into the property on arrival.

Upstairs chair was pretty non functional! It would be good to know which bin belongs to the property so we could have disposed our rubbish. The pillows are marked and need changing.

Cottage is cosy and in a good location. Host went above and beyond to ensure there was a working washing machine as per the property description. Host was east to contact and very responsive.

Unfriendly check in time of 5pm! Non responsive host! No washing machine as mentioned in the description and workers outside the window all day while we were trying to relax!
