Nothing really - has it been raining we might not have liked the lack of an internal corridor between our room and the main hotel and the leisure centre.

Very friendly staff, good size room, great walk in shower - and the pool. Food was good (we ate in the bar) and the hotel environment was great - the house with its period features and lovely grounds.

found lots of hairs in the bathroom, mirror in the bathroom also hadn’t been cleaned properly as when the mirror fogged up from the shower we could see what previous occupants had drawn on the mirror

the grounds were beautiful, staff were friendly and bed was very big and comfy

The curtains in the privilege room didn't fit the window and let lots of light in! The plug didn't work in the bath! Bar is very expensive!

It was impossible to close the door without I slamming it. Anytime a car drove into the parking lot outside , a grate made a loud rattle. Luckily, the hotel wasn’t too busy, so it was quiet between 10 pm and 7 am.

The hot water was plentiful and the room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. Good value.

Jacuzzi wasn’t working. Outside areas looked a bit tired, but I appreciate the time of year probably affects this. The (outdoor) carpet leading to reception needs to go!!! It was filthy and doesn’t reflect the general cleanliness of the property.

Beautiful period property. Decor in room was clean and modern. Always a bonus to have an onsite pool. Evening dinner and breakfast both very pleasant.

Room was nice size bathroom let it down floor tiles loose and could feel them move as you walked. One of the rooms had food order to room after finishing left food outside room was on floor in hallway for a day. Worst spa day for two would not recommend at all

The thermal area could do with a bit of updating & the hot tub was out of order. Still loads to use though.

No WIFI. Nothing. We asked reception they said sorry. Don't stay out of main hotel if you want WiFi. TV’s dated not smart tv. No netflix / YouTube. Expected a free round of drinks.

Sauna / steam. All included. Large room. Good breakfast.

The junior suite bed was two singles pushed together that were different levels. Jacuzzi had no water in. Room not ready on arrival. Confirmed we would be arriving between 3-4 but was not allowed in until 4:30 and had no handwash and half a toilet roll. Little annoying due to this being a junior suite matked privilege by the door.

Having has to sit in the bar it would of been nice if someone could of come to offer to refill our drinks and bring our cooked food to us instead of having to walk up and down to get what we needed while someone stayed with the dog.

The breakfast was reasonable, however as we had to be seated in the bar it was very awkward having to carry food drinks to the bar area. I really cannot see why we could not sit near the back of the breakfast room away from the serving area with the dog.

Both my wife and I found the bed too hard. The maid kindly put a couple of extra duvets over the mattress, which made it softer fir the last night.

The location was peaceful and pleasant to walk around.

Breakfast and afternoon tea were lovely. We also had a very nice dinner in the bar. Staff were friendly. Especially a lovely lady called Marta. She made my daughter feel very special and really made our trip.

Our first room that we checked into had a horrible smell to it (musky). Also, it wasn’t as modern as the pictures on the website. Thankfully our second room was much better but cleanliness wasn’t the best as we had cobwebs on our ceiling. Needs a lot of TLC in rooms and hotel grounds. Spa facilities weren’t great as a lot things weren’t working. Was expecting a lot more for the price as it’s not a cheap hotel to stay in.

Location was good, only 10/15 minute drive into Shrewsbury. Staff were nice and friendly too!
