A beautiful lodge in a wonderful location. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Loved the added bonus of the hot tub in the evening under the stars.

The shower head was not good and seemed to be broken. The pressure was weak as most the water seemed to leak out at the connection point between the shower head and the hose. Other than that, there was an issue with the dishwasher on the morning we left as it backed up with water, but I have no doubt the owners will have remedied that in advance of the next people's stay!

The lodge is so private with an outstanding outlook. The size of the property exceeded our expectation. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub- even in the rain! It was such a relaxing environment and we enjoyed ambling around the local area.

The property exceeded expectations. It was more spacious than expected also. The hot tub was fantastic as was the location. The lounge was very comfortable with a great L shaped couch. Kitchen also spacious. The whole unit was very cosy and warm.

Beautiful lodge in a private position at the far end of the lodge site. Surrounded by lovely countryside 😊The ultimate get away offering peace and tranquility ☺️ Great decor in lodge plus a large decking area with hot tub, sun loungers and chairs. Spent some fabulous nights in the hot tub under the stars !! Devine and pure escape with friends!!

Everything, was perfect. Took my husband away for his 40th birthday! His best friend lives in Newcastle and we live in Cornwall so was perfect for location for us to meet in the middle! He hasn't seen him in years so was a lovely surprise for him. Very peaceful, the views were fantastic. Waking up to the sound of cows and chickens while having a cuppa tea was nice. It was away from everything busy and just 4 friends enjoying each others company. Thankyou. Highly recommended for a peaceful getway.

Nothing it was brilliant. Stay too short 😞

Location was perfect. So peaceful didn’t want to leave. Missed out on dinner Friday night as we went to crown thinking we would eat there. We walked down so could have a drink had a couple of drinks then were told fully booked. Couldn’t go anywhere else as had a drink. Tried to get food delivered no joy so had toast. Nothing to do with lodge or hosts just one of those things didn’t realise dinner at crown is booking only.

Excellent location, exceptional! Has everything you would need for a romantic get away. Hot tub is fabulous. Lovely atmosphere. Great sight and sounds of birds and animals. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

If you have a large vehicle then be careful coming in and out of the park as it is quite tight down the lane, no fault of the park itself though

This place was amazing. The location. How secluded it was. The cleanliness. The facilities. I booked this for my partner’s birthday and we were both blown away. The standard is extremely high. What added to it were the little homely touches as it was decorated for Christmas. There were plenty of appliances for us to cook together. The bedrooms were in pristine condition and the bathroom was of the highest quality. I cannot rave about this place enough. I would certainly visit again.

perfect location for a relaxing weekend away. the property was very clean throughout, the heating was on on arrival and the hot tub was clean and ready to be used when we arrived - the Christmas decorations were a special touch too.

A superb and beautiful location, a peaceful retreat for was what was planned to be a working long weekend, at the Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre. Our stay turned out to be a rather turbulent time with Storm Arwen but the lodge was a like a big hug. It really is a home from home. Additionally, generally speaking this is also perfect base to explore Shropshire. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, as we needed more time on leaving day as on top of the storm i had problems with my car which ended up in garage being repaired. Thank you.

LOCATION BY THE RIVER, OVERLOOKING THE HILLS. TASTEFULLY FURNISHED AND WELL EQUIPPED. GREAT HOT TUB, BONUS OF WOOD BURNER. LOVELY THAT THERE WAS A BIRD FEEDER ON THE DECKING AREA AND SPARE BIRD SEED.
