Cleanliness issues. Black mould under rim of WC, stains of indeterminate origin on padded seat under TV and rocking chair, hair on throw on bed and dust on menu holder in dining room.

Hello we enjoyed our stay at Malmaison Brighton nice clean Modern Hotel on Brighton Marina Free Car Parking which is a real bonus and a nice walk into Brighton . One for the Management a Sign to the Hotel Entrance would be helpful 😁😁

Rooms are fairly small so layout creates a bit of traffic jam moving around. Soundproofing between rooms could be better.

Staff were all superb and really helpful from check-in, to restaurant and housekeeping. The bed was extremely comfortable and room facilities were great..

Toiletries. Have become accustomed to hotels providing body wash, body lotion, shampoo amd conditioner. There was only body wash and shampoo. Had to buy some conditioner & lotion Room 333 had a fab view, but the wardrobe was very small. Okay for short stay. No hooks to hang winter coats. It wouldn't stop us returning.

Superb location. Staff friendly and helpful. Had harbour and sea view room which we loved. Weather allowed us to sit out on our balcony for an hour when returned from the town. Enjoyed the coast walk to town. Started raining one day so caught a bus back to the Marina, which stopped right outside the hotel street entrance. Would love to return in the summer and enjoy the outside terraces. We will return!

The shower was poor in terms of the screen not being big enough so the bathroom floor was always soaking wet every time we had a shower. Food wasn’t the best unfortunately, order was taken incorrectly and not much flavour to my main dish. Wine was also served in a heavily water marked glass. If we stay again we will Venture out to a restaurant.

The property was in a very good position located on the harbour. Decor was lovely and modern.

Better lighting in the food area as there is works going on it was a bit dark. Also the area at breakfast where you get your toast, cereals etc was quite small so it got very busy at times.

Breakfast as always is very good, staff very attentive. We had a room upgrade and were asked to offer a price for this which we did and it was accepted, so we had a really nice room with a terrace.

The room was rather tight for a 3 day stay for two and was lacking in storage space.

We liked the vibe. The food and bar were okay and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the stay.

The shower tray was poorly installed causing the bathroom to flood during shower use.

Staff were very accommodating offering to refrigerate items for us due to the fridges in the room being removed. It was right on the marina which was perfect for our early morning fishing trip!

Parking garage too small and difficult to manoeuvre

Very bad signage - hotel advised to park in multi storey and cross boardwalk (uncovered so got soaked) but at end of boardwalk no directions. Map on wall only had unit numbers no names. Fortunately one man walking advised to go through behind restaurants. For future reference turn left by Pizza Express. Clearly big problem as when we left saw another customer wandering around and we were able to guide her too.

No water in the room. Small room. Noisy toilet system. The room was cold and I couldn’t get the heater to work. Understaffed bar with long wait for service. Very poor choice of bar snacks - no crisps!

The breakfast was excellent. The best eggs Benedict I’ve had for some time and very fast arrival from order.
