Absolutely nothing to dislike!

Absolutely loved everything!!! This is our second visit for my birthday and it was even more special as the peacock was with us all weekend, we will be returning for a 3rd visit at somepoint!!

Apart from the fact we could light the fire, Mark (the host) was on hand to come and help! It was a brilliant stay

Only thing we didn’t like was having to leave

This is an amazing place to chill out and relax The hot tub is wood burning and is so easy to use The owner is so friendly and helpful even msg me to ask when we were arriving so he could warm the hot tub up for us Would definitely recommend to friends and family to come here was our first time and won’t be our last

The whole caravan and garden were a great setting to wake up to and the owner says he is adding more greenery to make the place feel more private

The only thing I struggled with was the cut out of the mattress I felt like my head was falling through the gap but it wouldn’t stop me returning and others like me who have that problem can just slide a little down the bed not a problem

Our stay here was amazing, the owner mark coudnt do enough for us I had emailed previously about some things and everything was ready for when I got there & he even decorated the cabin for us. Location is also great very accessible to york itself but far enough out the way for it to be lovely and quiet. It was so amazing I can’t thank him enough hope to be back very soon

Honestly i cant find a fault at all!!! It's just to good

We absolutely loved it here!!! Perfect hot tub in the most amazing private little garden, the hut was wonderful, so clean and well decored, the bed was divine!!! It's so warm and comfy. i have never slept as well as i did last night!!! (I dont settle properly away from home) When we came friday, it was really windy and raining, but that didn't stop us from getting in the hot tub with a glass of fizz!! In fact, i enjoyed the hot tub more in the wind and rain it was so relaxing!! We spent the day in york City Centre, which was lovely wr went on the bus and got of at picadilly we got two return tickets which cost £7.20 Bargin cheaper then a taxi! we have been recommending here to friends, and we have booked it again for April 2024!! We can't wait to come back!!! And Mark, the owner is absolutely lovely!! Someone you can have a good bit of crack with, couldn't be anymore lovely and helpful if he tried! We had an issue using the electric cooker i messaged him, and he was straight to us to show us how to use it!! He had no guests checking in and told me there was no rush on checkout. Thank you so much, Mark, at Bleak house farm, Cant wait to stay again.

There is nothing to dislike!

We had such an amazing two night stay in Alice’s garden. So comfortable and cozy and immaculately clean. Everything you need to instantly start relaxing on arrival. The drinks and biscuits were a lovely touch.. hot tub is fantastic and the garden itself is so pretty with plenty of seating areas and beautiful cottage flowers.. lighting the fire pit is a must. We were even lucky enough to get a lengthly visit from the resident peacocks. Mark the host was very friendly and helpful. Even offering us an early check in and late check out! Do not hesitate to book.. with only an £8 Uber ride outside of York it’s a must.

This beautiful place is such a hidden gem. Cannot fault a single thing. The hut is so charming and the private hot tub, bbq etc made for a perfect relaxing stay. Mark is also the perfect host, so friendly and welcoming.We Will definitely be returning 🙂 .

The hot tub was lovely but on our second day it smelt fusky and unpleasant. Although the owners were lovely they didn’t talk to us about the property on our arrival. It would have been better if they had explained how to keep the hot tub fresh, ( it’s a wood burning one) we realised that you have to put tablets in it daily other wise it does smell. There was no instructions, which is ok if you know what your doing and have a hot tub of your own, but if your very new to it then people might not know what to do.

Nice and quiet, peaceful location. Clean and very well stocked up with utensils and crockery. Comfy bed and lots of TV channels to choose from. The fridge had water and soft drinks at no extra charge 👍👍. The two peacocks are fabulous. The owners are really nice people, pleasant and polite.

Nothing, everything was great!

An absolutely stunning setting with a beautifully maintained garden and an amazing shepherds hut. The host went above and beyond, from pre-heating the hottub before our arrival, providing various amenities, and also just messaging us before check out to say he would be out and we could stay a bit later. Small touches, but made a huge difference!

Everything was amazing, beautiful shepards hut, beautiful garden/hot tub,, the photos dont do it justice!, we stayed for 4 nights as our uk honeymoon and was wonderful, such beautiful weather too, and close to the centre!
