There was no hot water to have a shower so we used the bath. Plug got stuck as it wasn't the correct size. I did email stright away but waiting on a reply

The apartments were hard to find, it looked straight forward on the map. The door was on the side of the building but the name of the building wasn’t the same so we thought we had the wrong apartments.

No Wi-Fi working with the apartment, advised to use the next door hotel which was unreliable. En suite shower didn’t have hot water, advised hosts who sent someone to look but replied about the wrong shower and didn’t address the issue. Missing curtain in lounge which someone was sleeping in on sofa bed. Advised hosts. Hosts were responsive but didn’t seem to fully understand messages or correct the right issue.

If I’m being picky l, I think the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner and the shower needs a little bit of focus. If we had been there more than one night, the bathrooms may have tinged my review.

The apartment is perfectly ok. Nothing to complain about for what we needed. Bedrooms were good with decent beds and the lounge/kitchen was nice too. The views were absolutely fantastic and the location was perfect. Car park next door is handy and at night it was silent.

Only 1 criticism is room had no balcony or opening windows. Can get a little stuffy.

The apartment could have done with a proper clean, examples included the glass on the doors to outside were filthy as well as the glass on th balcony. The door on the bathroom handle was broken, and the shower didn’t drain properly. 4 of us stayed in the 2-bed apartment which should sleep 6, I’d stay it’s be a struggle to have 6 in there comfortably. The double beds were very small, I’d say small doubles rather than proper doubles. The instructions for check in weren’t clear, we needed to press code before entering the code for entering the building, this was not noted in the instructions. There was no security at the building, and when we came back late at night there were 3 drunk men trying to gain access, they insisted coming in with us as well as in the lift which was very uncomfortable. Security would be good or at least a member of staff on site.

The property was in a good location, was spacious and had a nice balcony. Although there are no staff on site, the staff replied to any queries on email/message. The decor was lovely.

The 6 person room was 2 bedrooms with double beds, then we were given a single fold out bed that only fit one person with a single duvet, so one person ended up sleeping on the sofa. Sleeping on the futon was so uncomfortable that I slept on the floor instead. It would have been lovely as a 4 person room, definitely not for 6. It was very hot and stuffy in the apartment as it had no windows that opened and no air conditioning. We were only given one roll of toilet paper for 6 people for 2 nights which obviously ran out very quickly!

The shower was broken. Not strong enough. The water was leaking so it wasn't a shower. It should have been checked and fixed before guests arrived.

Early checkin as paid for in advance was not arranged by management, resulting in the offering of an apartment which had not yet been cleaned.

Sue the Cleaner was exceptionally helpful in helping to coordinate with management and arranging for an alternative apartment which was already cleaned to a high standard. Location on the Waterfront was ideal.

Would maybe have preferred someone within the building for guidance instead of emailing. We did report some minor issues which we received a punctual email back. We ended up parking at the Crown plaza Hotel which is a pay onsite carpark as the multistorey next door couldn't take my friends car with its roof box.

Loved the location. Was perfect for what we needed. Well kitted out kitchen facilities and a sofa area to chill in. The block was surprisingly quiet and there was a small sainsbury round the corner where we were able to buy the essentials for the weekend.

The settee bed wasn’t big enough and uncomfortable. There were hairs on bedding which weren’t ours. The balcony was nice but covered in bird poo and weeds…with no outdoor seating.

The bed!! It’s tiny! I’m not even sure if it’s a double. Myself and husband are small people, any bigger than us, you’d spend the night falling out of bed. Apartment 3.

No furniture on the balcony and the bed was so uncomfortable and every time you moved the headboard isn’t secured at the bottom so it just constantly banged against the wall

We booked for 8 people but there was only beds for 7, (this includes the sofa) we were given a code to get extra sheets out of the cleaning cupboard which smelt damp and foisty. There wasn’t any cutlery in the kitchen at all, luckily we were eating out but there wasn’t even tea spoons to make a cup of tea. Both toilet seats in the bathroom and the en-suit were hanging off.

The penthouse suits on the top floor are lovely, really spacious and up to date decor. All rooms were clean and the beds were so comfy 🙂

Apartment was not suited to 6 adults. 2 camp beds with thinnest mattress, does not constitute a futon bed as was described on website! Had to sleep on the sofa. Beds themselves were just bigger than a large single, main showers thermostats were broken so water was scalding so not usable.

Cleanliness was good apart from the smell of damp or tobacco throughout the building and in the room. Views of the Mersey were amazing!
