The room was comfy, and the house was quirky ad homely with Amanda's family photos etc. Amanda was lovely and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and I loved her garden at the back where you can sit in.

Really, no problems.

The location was great, across from the park and a walkable distance from the friends that we were visiting. The room was beautiful and clean, Amanda was a lovely host, and the breakfast was delicious.

A house of great character very much like a family home. Very comfortable and all the amenities in the room you could wish for. A range of toiletries in the bathroom , tea and coffee making facilities provided. The host is friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided was excellent. Vegetarian option available . Ambles is situated in an attractive row of houses facing the Bremen open space of racecourse park .

On a very busy road and I think that we were a little lucky to find a parking space just opposite the property.

Very friendly and engaging host. Fabulous full English breakfast was a good enough reason to visit by itself.

Breakfast was excellent. Amanda assisted by TRUDI was an excellent host we enjoyed everything about Ambles…… the welcome, feeling we were home from home, relaxation and the real bonus for me was definitely was TRUDI . We have every intention of visiting again .

Nothing really. We had an experience which exceeded our expectations.

The breakfast has built up a great reputation and this was borne out. Toiletries provided were generous. The decor was lovely. Amanda is creative and has an eye for understated elegance. The hotel is in a grand part of Northampton near the Rugby and cricket ground. There was off road parking.

Parking facilities are not great after 5pm at night.

Amanda is a brilliant host, who goes above and beyond to help you in any way she can. The breakfast was excellent. The vibe is relaxed and homely. Amanda allowed us to book in a little earlier than we should have and we truly appreciated her kindness. The bedding was lovely and there is a wide variety of viewing selections on the TV. There are tea and coffee facilities, which we always appreciate. Park across the road and bus stop close by. The bathroom connected to our room was big, bright and had a large, luxury bath.... lovely.

There was no external lock on the bedroom door meaning it was open and unlocked. Not comfortable with that. The room was very cold and no matter how long I ran the tap, no hot water. I think there may have been a fault with the heating system as the owner had a little plug in heater in the breakfast room because that too was very cold.

A very twee old fashioned English bed and breakfast. It should have been a ten but will explain later why only an eight. The host was extremely welcoming. The breakfast was lovely with extra thick bacon. Could have done with a few more beans between the 2 of us though. The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. Location was great for the golf course and we found a little old fashioned pub 2 minutes down the road called Ye Olde England serving real ales. We would stay again.

From the moment we arrived, we had a warm welcome by Amanda, She is so hospitable and made us feel right at home. She has a genuine care for her guests and this truly set our experience apart. The cozy atmosphere of the place combined with lovely nature made our stay unforgettable. We were particularly impressed by her service, which exceeded our expectations. It's evident that she go above and beyond to ensure her guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you Amanda for your hospitality.
