The television is not in front of the bed or any sofas so we couldn’t use it as we couldn’t see it. The kitchen has a small amount of cooking equipment but not really a lot if you’re planning on preparing meals. Otherwise a quirky little comfortable apartment.

A fantastic location and very comfortable bed. The room is spacious. Very handy having a kitchen and access to the building was very easy.

Lots of finishing off needed. Have emailed property separately. Outside area needs cleaning, food rubbish strewn outside window , kitchen very cold, missing fridge door. Table & chairs looks like it’s from charity shop. Tap in bathroom sink very loose and no towel heater in bathroom

It could have been cleaner. The toilet is flush is on the brink. Check-in is way too late, especially as check-out is before midday. The room and whole building isn’t family-friendly thanks to the odd choice of decor, which mainly includes scantily clad women offering “free parking in the rear” or reminding you to “fill her up” — most of the decorations have a through line of outdated misogyny too. Very unnecessary, very odd design choice.

The Ambleside apartments are in a great position in the centre of Ambleside. Our apartment was a lovely size with a really comfortable bed.

The TV couldn't access normal TV or music channels. Only Netflix and app programs on your own login details . The bedroom and living area were warm. However, the kitchen, entrance hall, and bathroom were FREEZING. You are left an extra oil heater and you have to decide where's best to put it. They are not together, so can't use the heater to heat it all. We chose to put the heater in the entrance hall so we could warm up the bathroom as well. We tried leaving the kitchen door open so the heat from the living area would circulate, but the kitchen was too cold for that. Luckily there are drink facilties in both the living are and kitchen so we just used the living area. Also, on arrival, the fridge was dirty and smelly. Had to contact the owners , who sent a non English speaking person to clean it. The sky light in the kitchen was full of green moss outside and in around the window frame.

The bedroom, living area and bathroom were very modern .

Tv - no standard channels BBC1/2 ITV, channel 4. Internet linked so you can sign into some of your own accounts like Netflix etc but no iPlayer. Not an issue for us but no ability to drop off bags as double yellow lines outside and the parking on the other side very busy. Car parking in peak season may be difficult to find nearby.

Very comfy Bed, great facilities. Great tea and coffee making facilities but you need to take your own ground coffee for the coffee machine. Strange that these facilities were in the sleeping area would be better in the kitchen then this can be used as a dresser.

The photos make it look a lot more modern that it is. I didn’t really like the decor which was lots of tin logo pics about how to keep women happy and pin up girls etc. Just didn’t really seem to fit the modern vibe the photos put out. Parking at the recommended place was £20 for 2/3 nights
