Ambleside Townhouse is a fantastic place to stay, and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone else. Great & convenient location a 2 minute walk from the main street in Ambleside. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Fantastic breakfast with a great range of choice - a buffet + a choice from the cooked breakfast menu. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious.

Bed was hard and short (not sure why at it was a large king size in width). Bathroom was a little dated but adequate.

Large rooms with good furnishings. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and staff very attentive.

The window needs fixing it bangs if windy and the tv kept going off, the signal was poor, again could be the weather

Excellent choice at breakfast, quality produce. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Location is fantastic. Room was huge, spotless and excellent facilities. Would definitely be our first choice for accommodation if we returned to Ambleside.

We had no issues other than a neighbouring room making noise on the last night. Other than that, we had a lovely stay, and we hope to stay again in the future!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very cosy, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was the star of our stay. The building itself was lovely, too. They had information on local walks and things to see aswell, which was a nice touch.

There was nothing to dislike. The B & b was very welcoming and the staff were all very pleasant and courteous.

Our room was large and very clean and comfortable. We loved the view from the window. The breakfast was superb and the choices on the menu were excellent. We were very close to the shops etc and it was lovely and quiet in the B & B.

Sometimes a little tricky to be understood (language) Hard parking sideways on a slope (but super grateful for parking to be avail) Bedroom lights not the best light intensity for reading by - especially when working at the desk.

Parking was very limited at the hotel but we managed to get parked at nearby public car park only short walk from the property
