How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We came over from Scotland for sons 13th birthday especially to take him to the titanic museum house wasn’t far from talk was with in easy access to most places in Belfast would definitely stay again

When we arrived we had coffee, cookies, milk, jam from the landord and in the bathroom there was shampoo and hair conditioner . Everything we needed was there, towels, hairdryer... comfortable bed. Everything was in perfect condition! What I liked the most was the painting that had my name, telling us Belinda and family enjoy your time, I will go again. good location, where we could see some murals of belfast and the city. brilliant

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was nice and warm. The staff, John ensured it was kept warm during the extreme cold weather.

Excellence quality property with parking. Beds comfortable and very clea throughout. . Little touches such as tea/sugar and toiletries provided to name just a few. Would recommend.

From the front room you could hear the cars on the main street. But that wasn't too bad. It's just an observation.
The house is very new, very tidy. It had everything we need. Checking in and out was smooth. The contact with the person in charge was quick and I noticed his helpfulness.

There was nothing we disliked.
Anjore House was perfect for us! Well set up, well equipped, very comfortable, warm and welcoming. Location a bit out of the city was nice, with shops close by & handy. The buses were also close & it was easy to get to the city. Beds very comfortable.

The location was central but very noisy and busy. Lots of passing traffic and people walking by. During our stay it was really hot but we could not sleep with the windows open because of the level of noise. Parking on street was hit and miss and we could not park outside the property as someone else was parked there for our entire stay. Neighbours music was playing loudly each night of our stay too. Obvously our host cannot be held responsible for all of this, but this is what we experienced during our stay.
Lovely clean property. Nicely decorated and bright throughout. Comfortable beds and shower was great too. Netlix on TV was really handy and the little outside patio area was handy too. Kitchen was modern and basic supplies were provided which was much appreciated.

Not much to dislike, but the camp bed/futon wasn't very comfortable apparently, but sofa is though.
The location was perfect for us, as we were visiting family in the area. Parking wasn't a problem.

The hosts were brilliant, although we didn't meet them in person they kept us up to date on how to check in and out via text. They provided a lovely welcome gift and plenty of information on the local area. The house was in a great location and it was very clean and comfortable.

While the area was handy as it was near the city, there’s wasn’t much around it in the way of shops or bars. It was more of a residential area, but this didn’t bother us much and was only a short taxi from the city centre.
The apartment was very clean and had everything you could need in it from towels to shampoo. The tea, coffee and little treats were a very nice touch.

It was very comfortable, thoughtful and well presented. we planned it for my husbands birthday and it was so memorable. loved how all the amenities were up to date and the host was so helpful and friendly. the bedding was super comfortable. They accommodated a few of our requests with a toddler in house to make it even more comfortable. the location is perfect and I would recommend it to everyone! def coming back here without a doubt!

The couple of hours rain that we had
15 minutes walk to the city center or frequent bus service. Local shops 3 minutes walk away from the apartment. Spoke to the neighbours on a few occasions and they were very friendly

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Clean and well presented throughout with all the equipment one would need. Honestly, i hesitate to book again. It is a little outside the centre but the price reflects that, so this wasn't an issue. Staff and theor communication was impeccable 👌 thanks

Staircase are needs maintenance , everytime you go up & down its makes lot lot lot noice. but overall its good.

The stairs, is a bit creaky.
Nicely decorated, almost everything in this house is new. Easy to get to. Beds are comfortable, are are the kitchen and living room furniture are great too.
