Poor service and quality

Shower pressure poor and variable temperature. Lack of fridge. No dressing gown. Expensive for what it is. Bed way too soft and soggy. Never ever receive the email invoice. System seems to be broken. Bottles of water both had seals broken so I wouldn't use them. WiFi signal poor. Needs better, faster reception they never answer the internal phones. Lack of aircon.

Bottles of water in the room. Decent toiletries. Cosy. Homely. Spacious. Grounds. Kettle. Milk. Towels. Clean.

Slight inconvenience of being in a separate block which could have meant getting very wet if it had been raining whilst going for breakfast

It’s not that we didn’t like it, but during our stay the orangery where the main bar is was having building work done so the set a temporary bar up in another room which proved probabilistic with service but understandable. The only other thing to note would be the pillow cases, everything besides this was immaculate

The property was stunning!! Every room was beautifully decorated and the gardens although to wet to walk round from what we saw looked amazing

Loud construction work started before 8am on the Sunday morning. Thankfully we are early risers so this didn’t impact us much. Disappointed to find that the Sunday evening menu no longer has the fabulous roast beef sirloin which was our go to on previous visits.

The hotel is undergoing major refurbishment and there were issues with the hot water supply in our initial room. Management were extremely quick to come and personally check out the problem. When it couldn’t be remedied we were immediately offered a free room upgrade which was an excellent solution and very much appreciated. We are annual visitors to Ansty Hall and feel that the new refurbishments will improve an already lovely location once they are completed. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, lovely to see some familiar faces.

There is refurbishment of the hotel ongoing at the moment, which I knew about before I booked. Once the refurbishments are completed this will be a really lovely place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable room. Bar supper food was very tasty. Ideal location for my visit to the area. Ample car parking at the hotel.

Staff were lovely and very friendly. The bed was super comfortable and the room nice and spacious. Breakfast was good. Was a convenient location for a short stay due to a family wedding nearby.

That charges for dog were per night - why ? As additional charge is surely for cleaning which is the same regardless of how many nights you stay surely ? Could it be one charge rather than a nightly charge

Furniture in the rooms although in keeping is a little dated Stayed on 3 seperate occasions and none of the 3 rooms have any USB sockets.

Was given a ground floor room at the annex building. So open to elements and view was directly unto the carpark.

Noise from drainpipe outside room 108 was annoying. Reception spent ages on the phone to a colleague whilst I was left waiting to check in which was rude. Printer wasn't working so no invoice on check out. Promised it would be emailed, hasn't arrived. Tried calling and been ringing for half an hour. They need to up their game on reception. No fridge in the room which is something I always use for special milk (dietary requirement). Breakfast is a rip off at £20 so went without.

Cosy room. Dated but in keeping with the property. Everything worked.

Amazing vegan breakfast and delicious 3 course dinner, spacious well appointed rooms and really friendly, helpful staff. The location is great- well connected but feels quite rural, with lots of on site car parking.

Wish I had booked directly

We were greeted at reception by Prince who was so lovely and helped my elderly mum, my daughter and i to our rooms. He was so polite and caring and just made us feel like nothing was too much of an ask. The reception picked up the phone when I called to book a taxi - sometimes reception staff in other hotels never answer the phone. The breakfast was superb and was made even more delightful by the excellent service. The bed was super comfy- I had such a good nights sleep. My mum and daughter also commented on how comfortable the bed was and that they dropped off straight away
