Parking is on street but didn’t have any issues finding a space within a minutes walk.

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent- no further food required until evening meal! Louise was very welcoming and knowledgeable about local attractions etc. would definitely stay again. Good location and within reasonable walking distance from town centre.

Water pressure was a little hit and miss, not sure if this was down to other guests using the hot water.

Some of the furniture was a bit dated but didn’t affect the stay. The TV was a tad small in the room however we only ready had it on for background noise and didn’t affect us watching it. I know Louise is in the process of doing some upgrades. Neither of these things would prevent us from booking to stay here again.

The personal touches provided by the owners (Louise and Peter) make staying at this guest house a home from home experience. Our room was upgraded on arrival which was a lovely bonus and was clean and comfortable. The selection at breakfast was good and freshly cooked for you each morning. The breakfast room was available to guests during the day to use the cutlery and plates should you wish to order a takeaway or bring food back rather than eating out. We did this one night. There was use of the fridge and a microwave as well. Louise also likes to bake so there is always free cake available. I tried a slice of her chocolate and banana cake which was very nice. Louise always referred to us by name which was another nice personal touch. The location was a simple walk into the town centre which took you past Shrewsbury Abbey. Would stay at this Guest House again.

Absolutely nothing that would deter me from returning.

The host and owner Louise, welcoming, helpful and kind hospitality throughout my stay. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast and home made cake on arrival which was much appreciated after a long journey. My double bed room was of a generous size with corner shower en suite. Hot drinks tray had plentiful choice, even a teapot which is a rarity! Thank you for your tentative service.

Location could have been better for parking. We were lucky to get a parking space. Our room was right on the main road and also near the train line so it was noisy for most of the evening and early morning.

Louise gave us a good welcome, parking was easy, room very comfortable, super breakfast. Location was ideal for us. Riverside walk into the town was a joy. We will rebook! Oh ,property was very clean.

There's nothing to dislike here

Greeted by Louise at the door, we had a lovely warm welcome. We were served breakfast each morning which was freshly cooked, also with a selection of cereals, yogurts & juices, also freshly baked cakes for during the day. Our room had everything we needed including a kettle and bottled water. Beautifully clean throughout.

There was nothing we didnt like

Very welcoming and friendly host. On arrival Louise introduced herself and showed us where dining room was etc. Even had home made cakes which we could help ourselves to. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was exceptional too. Would definitely stay here again

Host was very welcoming, it was very homely. Its a an nice mature house run by experienced B&Bers. Home baked cake was available and very tasty. Didnt have the breakafast as i was leaving early.
