Great place to stay in Shrewsbury. Just a 10 minute walk into the centre. Louise is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. Lovely touches like home baked cake in the fridge in the dining room. Also biscuits and chocolate in the room. Beds were mega comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend.

The property was beautiful and well kept. Everything provided was of a really good quality, Louise works hard to make your stay comfortable. Homemade cake in fridge, and allergies catered for. Room with original features but modern bathroom, just lovely. Bed was so comfy , breakfast was delicious and location perfect for us, about 10min walk from town and station.

The B&B was absolutely fabulous. Louise was a great host and could not have been more helpful. The room was good and every amenity had been thought of - really well equipped The breakfast was delicious !! On arrival having a piece of homemade sponge cake was just wonderful We will be staying there again

The owner and her sister are very welcoming and friendly, nice little extras like home made cake, use of fridge in dining room, chocolates and biscuits in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean. Lots of choice for breakfast, all piping hot when it came out and very tasty. The location is good, just far enough out of town to be quiet but walking distance to the centre. Parking is on the road but this wasn’t a problem and we found a space straight away. I would definitely stay here again .

The only thing we didn't like was the noise of the traffic in the early morning, if it wasn't so warm we wouldn't have opened the window so that would've prevented that.

Our stay was really great. Louise was a really good host; very welcoming and went out of her way to make you feel comfortable and spoilt. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to perfection with quality produce. There was homemade coffee cake, cold bottled water and nice biscuits offered as well as a bottle of Prosecco as I mentioned it was my birthday 😊, how kind is that! The shower was brilliant, proper power shower and all the organic toiletries too. The guest house is a quick walk into Shrewsbury town so ideal location. I would highly recommend a stay at Anton Guest House.

If you are tall it may be worth calling ahead and asking for a room on the 1st floor. We were in the attic and my husband had to duck a lot to avoid beams.

Anton House is exceptional. Louise goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy, providing free bottled water, fresh milk and biscuits and baking cakes for when you return after a long day's sightseeing. Louise is happy to recommend places to eat. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order (porridge was delicious), and Louise takes time to introduce guests to each other. Rain shower was lovely. Although parking was on the road we never had a problem finding space.

Louise is very friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat and what to visit in Shrewsbury. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and beautifully cooked. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a excellent hospitality tray. We will definitely return. Thank you.

This B&B is exceptional. Louise was the most fabulous hostess. The breakfast was divine and so plentiful. The room was as good as any fancy hotel with a large selection of teas. We loved talking to the other guests over breakfast and the location was ideal. A gorgeous walk into Shrewsbury town centre. Thanks, Louise. We will definitely be back!
