There was nothing we did not like.

We loved all of our stay from the welcome to the accommodation it was superb. 😍 We loved the location, easily within walking distance into Portrush Town Centre. The Deluxe Queen room was beautifully designed, as was the rest of the property. Even though we had to go before the cooked breakfast, there were ample cereals and pastries to enjoy.

Our room was very comfortable light and bright and very clean with lots of very thoughtful touches.Breakfast was lovely parking was easy and Ian was very helpful when we arrived with advice about dinner and it was a lovely easy walk to Harbour restaurants via the beach. Good location to explore the Northern coastline.

Quiet. Easy access to Port Rush. Kind receptionist/ owner man gave us some taxi numbers so off we went.. Port Rush really pretty . We had dinner and then went to hear some local music which was really good and quite unexpected. Taxi back-easy. Really comfortable bed and super Irish breakfast next morning. Highly recommend.

Lovely decor, great friendly staff, lovely room, all modern, you can feel the love put into the place by the owners, can,t recommend it highly enough, we had the room with bath, amazing large bath, lovely for a soak after a hard days sight seeing in the beautiful Causeway Coastal Route, we booked really last minute and late afternoon , early evening, all not a problem for the owners, thank you a lovely stay

I could not fault this place at all. We only stayed one night but everything was perfect. Out of all the places booked for our north of Ireland road trip this was our favourite. Easy 10-12 minute walk into Portrush. Great breakfast and lovely hosts. The room was decorated to a personal home feel which is always nice. Up to date smart TV with YouTube gets a shout from me as well. The information book in the room had all you needed to know about the room and area. It was immaculately clean and had a nice coffee and tea station with biscuits. Parking was easy and they let us check in early. It just felt like they had stayed places before and made sure everything they would want in a B&B room was there. Top marks are well deserved.

The shower is a little weak. I expected the room to be cleaned overnight, but this did not happen. Other than that it was a great stay.

The hotel was close to the train station and the beach. The room was tidy, cosy, and big enough for two person.The breakfast was great. We had a great time staying here and would definitely recommend it.

We were very surprised when we got to Anvershiel to find how big our room was. It was a hotel quality room with the homely feeling of a BnB. We had the ground floor room which was very spacious, with a big en suite. We were made to feel very welcome by the host and the breakfasts were lovely both mornings! Location is fantastic - very short walk into town along the beach. Would recommend to any friends or family planning a trip up that way!

the mattress

The service was a bit slow but breakfast was good. The B&B is close to the waterfront and to the harbour where most of pubs and restaurants can be found. Our room overlooked the main street, which I personally liked.The bedroom was pretty large and well equipped with wardrobes and chest of drawers but the mattress was really awful! It bent on both sides and we felt like slipping every night! The shower was lit inside, which I found great!

Traffic noise from road when the street-facing bedroom window was open, otherwise excellent.
