Really comfortable, well equipped and authentic house We loved staying at Anvil House Darren and Caroline were very friendly and helpful. Also the location was great to access all the popular tourist destinations. The kids specifically liked it We plan on returning.

Our only criticism is the seating arrangements need sorting. Four adults and one 2 seater settee doesn’t really work. But it wouldn’t stop us staying again in fact we have rebooked

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. It's bigger than I thought it would be and has so many wonderful little details the hosts made. The aquarium was the highlight for my children!

There is nothing not to like.

The cottage is full of character and very homely, with lots of attention to detail. It is in a great location for visiting the south of Cornwall, with most places just a short drive away. Off-road parking is available at the side of the cottage.

2 of the bedrooms could do with more storage space eg drawers. Kitchen could do with a couple of small sharp/ serrated knives. Otherwise well equipped.

The property was extremely nicely decorated to a high spec. Lovely bathrooms and very clean and tidy.

Beautifully restored traditional old blacksmith’s house. Excellent location. Great base for park and ride train to St Ives. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Daron and Caroline clearly take pride in this stunning house and rightly so. Well equipped.

This house is so comfortable, well equipped and luxurious. ideally located in the village and a short walk from the local station and just a few steps from the village shop and pub. The host is very responsive to any questions you may have before arrival and during your stay. if you want to explore Cornwall especially the St Ives / Penzance area this is perfect!

This place was really cute and well thought. The welcome pack was very detailed and helpful. The property had a nice garden and almost a boutique where you could buy couple of things. We broke a cup and informed the host, she said "don't worry about it". It was a wonderful stay.

It could have been nice to have some sponges for the kitchen sink and maybe some cooking oil available. As these are commodities that you can't use up fully over a short stay. That would be the only negative.

The photos don't do the interior of the house justice. Has a large living room and dining area. Well decorated to be cosy and very fitting for the area. The house was very clean with almost everything you could want available.

Anvil House is a beautiful old cottage that has been newly renovated to an exceptional standard, with so many special touches and details. With three separate bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms and off road parking, it was the perfect spot to take my elderly parents on holiday for a few days. The village of St Erth itself is also delightful and the perfect location to explore the Hayle Estuary, Marazion, St Ives, Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, Land's End and beyond. We would definitely recommend Anvil House to other visitors and hope to return ourselves again one day.
