We only stayed one night to visit family but will definitely stay again. Beautiful apartment, really high standard of decoration and cleanliness. Rob has really gone the extra mile with this apartment and was really friendly and helpful. Tea, coffee and juice provided and breakfast available downstairs. Has everything you need for a longer stay, washing machine and full kitchen with dining table and all the essentials. Perfect location and parking on site. Couldn't have been happier

Would have liked to have seen more utensils: pairing knife, serving spoons, salt and olive oil etc. We were going to eat out but then decided to cook…so these things would have been helpful.

Morning traffic is a bit loud, but this was as we expected as it is a main street of the city. There is a cafe downstairs, and we couldn't hear them at all.

The apartment is in the rear of the building, and private parking was right by the door to the building. We had a van and there was plenty of space. The stairs are inside the building, and are not narrow or steep. We walked to ASDA to buy dinner and breakfast food. The oven heats quickly, so keep an eye on it. The owner met us at the building. He was easy to contact, answered all of our questions, and was very helpful. The shower had great water pressure and heated up quickly.

Air con?

The room was huge and so was the tele. The host, Rob, was lovely. The only down side to it is it’s on the main rd, it was a very hot weekend & I had to sleep with the windows open but the road was fairly busy with cars till around 2am, so I didn’t get much sleep. So I will book again, but with ear plugs next time ;)

A lot of stairs to get in so not suitable for anyone dodgy on their legs.

Nothing - it was great !

The host was very helpful, met me to show me around. The facilities in this apartment are great - very comfortable, convenient location everything you needed. From tea towels to tea and biscuits- they had even put a few essentials in the fridge !

An absolutely lovely place to stay was wowed when we entered the apartment. really modern, spacious open-plan property can’t fault it, and I really can see why it is 9.5 rated. Rob, the host, was welcoming and showed us around the place. There was complementary milk,orange juice, biscuits, coffee, tea, etc. I will definitely be returning; this will be my go-to place to stay when I visit family in Blackwood. Another thing to mention is that the cleanliness of the place was spotless, and another plus was the good-quality towels, shower gel shampoo,and hair dryer. Lastly, I've seen a lot of people moaning about the stairs. When I checked the reviews, there were no more steps than going into a normal 2nd-floor apartment, which was not a problem at all. But if you have mobility issues, it may be a problem. Thanks for having us rob

Staff of the cafe took the reserved parking spot and when I asked them to move, they slightly moved the vehicle so I could fit in the parking bay too but this meant loading/unloading the car was tricky and I had to park with the front of my car overhanging the yellow lines so that I didn't block the access door. Bed is quite small in all directions and as I am 6'3", this meant I didn't have the best level of comfort.

Having stayed in this apartment a year before, we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed. Since our last stay there is some new furniture and the TV has been set up with Netflix which are both good additions.

Both Apartment 185 and the owner were extremely welcoming. I was given a tour of the apartment and shown where everything was and provided with some complimentary drinks, milk, and biscuits. The apartment is quiet, relaxing, and has a very chilled out vibe which was great. 30 seconds away from shops, restaurants, pubs, and the cinema. Excellent location. Definitely stay here again when back in the area.
