Beautiful flat in great location. As others have said a few niggles. Several bulbs not working. No lamps in the bedroom. Limited cutlery and crockery. Gates to car park only partially working.

Not enough plates and glasses for everyone to eat/drink together! Some lamps and a coffee table would’ve helped too. No beside table and a very soft bed (though others might love this).

only a slight niggle that there could be more equipment in the kitchen such as oven proof dishes to bake e.g. lasagne. But overall fine

Was difficult to see where to park as the parking behind the apartment didn't say what apartment number the parking was for. Water drainage was appalling. Whilst having a shower and after it took over an hour for the water to drain. Shower itself was very low powered Windows were beautiful but could do with black blinds as well as the shutters. Shutter strings were also broken The apartment didn't have a full length mirror. The mirror in the bathroom had the light above it not working and the mirror in the hall was too heigh to do makeup. Didn't feel overly secure with just a single key to the apartment door Would also be great if a fan or two was placed in the apartment

there was no dishwasher or tumble dryer, both of which are included in list of facilities. it was generally clean but there was some rubbish in drawers and quite dusty

there’s quite a lot of stairs for some it didn’t bother us as we were out all day so only had to go up once a day

the location was excellent just across the square from the metro £3 return to Liverpool centre

The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that there was no washing up liquid so had to buy some

Hamilton Square was beautiful , other parts of Birkenhead not so nice but the apartment was a five minute walk to train station to get in to Liverpool . Took 10 mins .

Battery of the fire allarm in the stairwell was low and therefore made a beeping noises in the very regular intervals 24/7. Impossible to mute it despite closing every door there was. Also a bit dusty which doesn't bothered me but it's an observation for future improvement as other guests may not be so forgiving.

Smoke alarm in hallway outside the apartment low battery warning kept beeping. Tried phoning contact number & never got a reply, also sent a text about it & no reply. It was very high up & we were unable to reach it to turn it off. Thankfully we were so tired after Eurovision we managed to sleep even with the beating every few minutes.

Great location, close to a train station. No street/outside noise. nice view over opposite park, had own carpark around the back.

The downside to this property were none of the lamps worked at all, if we were staying longer than a weekend i would have said something but the down lights in the kitchen area were okay instead, there is no corkscrew, scissors, salt & pepper or bottle opener in the kitchen and the bathroom had marks left in the bath and on the toilet, overall it’s the location of the apartment you’re paying for here not the actual apartment because the apartment is well decorated but it’s facilities inside are very basic and cleanliness is an issue.

Excellent location and access, views were brilliant over Hamilton Square, the decor inside is so tastefully done and comfortable.

Birkenhead is a little down-at-heel, but felt safe. Apart from a loud late bar just down the road the area is very quiet.

Nice apartment with high quality furniture overlooking a quiet square. Train station (2 metro stops from Liverpool Central) only a pleasant 5 min walk away.

Windows had some dirty blinds in one of the rooms. However, house was generally clean.

Location was superb, house was comfortable with safe private parking.

Toilet seat was too small which was unpleasant. There was a constant high-pitched buzz in the hallway that you could still hear in the flat. A dishcloth or similar would be helpful to enable us to clean up as requested Also, it would be helpful to mark up the parking spaces as the other occupants kept blocking our car in.

Excellent sized apartment with a large lounge and dining area and good sized bedrooms. The location was great, a 5 minute walk to a metro stop and only 1 stop to the docks in Liverpool. Limited eateries in Birkenhead although the ferry terminal had some good options. The parking space was very helpful, and on street parking for extra cars easily available for £5 all day. The entry instructions were clear and easy to follow.

A few things were disappointing. The most serious was the toilet seat which was loose and did not seem to fit. Cooking pots are now needing replaced (loose handles etc) and could have done with more cooking utensils; the frame of one dining chairs was twisted and felt unsafe; we would have preferred a curtained bedroom to aid sleeping on bright summer nights; we felt the living area would have benefitted from a coffee table; it would also have been useful to have a full-length mirror. Finally, it would be good to have a warning label on the fridge/freezer plug/socket. It was at the opposite end of the kitchen area from the appliance and we inadvertently switched it off one night - in the middle of the heatwave!!

Superb location in a lovely Georgian square which was not too busy or noisy. (see photos) Very close to train station so ideal for accessing the centre of Liverpool, and exploring other parts of the Wirral. Large, spacious rooms in apartment with very comfortable bed and sofa, good storage, and good quality TV. Bathroom generally good. Overall we enjoyed staying in this apartment.

Nothing about the apartment itself but location: - groceries stores/supermarket are relatively far away - I can imagine it's a little far if you're planning to explore Liverpool and need to often go back to the apartment (for example, travelling with small children), since there are no bridges across the river, only tunnels

- nice pubs around - very spacious apartment, three separate rooms - clean and pretty, had everything we needed - bakery and convenience stores nearby - good connection to everything, busses to move around Wirral (go to New Brighton and walk around the beach there) and subway to go to Liverpool
