Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomFew bits need a bit of attention decor-wise. Smoke alarm wired up but not attached to ceiling. Double bed mattress very hard. Parking not ideal. Was listed as 5 spaces but was really only 3 and a bit of space near bins. One space taken up by property owners business car. One of the group had to park across the street which wasn't allowed until 6pm on Saturday night.
Very spacious with lots of facilities. Well decorated. Very handy location for our theatre visit. Great price. Communal areas well decorated. Loved the artwork in the stairwells and landings.

Great apartment. Enjoyed our quick stop over. We will be back again shortly as we frequent the local hospital and this is an ideal 1 night stop for us.

United KingdomThere were one or two niggling things that did not prevent us from enjoying ourselves. We felt that we had to wash the cutlery before we used it and I would have preferred to have had a lock on the bathroom door. Having spilt some cold water onto the kitchen floor we had to use kitchen towel to mop it up and were surprised at the dirt that was collected by the tissue, Let me say again these were only minor things.
This was a well presented and comfortable apartment, the hidden extras like slippers and bath robes provided by the owners were very welcome. The beds were extremely roomy and comfortable and the rooms and interior of the buildings were well designed and artistically decorated. We had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Justine was extremely helpful and was always ready to answer our questions. I would recommend these premises.

United Kingdomit wasn’t clean. there were hairs on the towels and bedding, the table still had crumbs all over it. not impressed. the second bedroom bed had a huge dip in it too. luckily only one person in that room, but would be uncomfortable for two people with that dip.
very well located, right next to the train station so very easy to get to. very spacious and well decorated flat.

United KingdomWhen we entered the property we quickly realised there was already someone else’s belongings inside. We promptly left and called the owner who was very confused as they had already received a call from who they thought were us (without having checked their details to confirm identity). We were allocated the neighbouring vacant property which did not meet the standards described in the property we had booked. The smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling (but were assured it was working). The bath leaked The toilet leaked There were no dishwasher tablets There was limited utensils Freezer was completely choked with ice Velux window blind was ripped (2nd bedroom) The cleanliness in general was poor (dust, dirty dish towel, dirty cloth, dirty work tops, dirty window frames, mould around shower, dirty/broken toilet seat). Open food from previous occupant. Multiple broken/missing bulbs. Broken chest of drawers. We spoke with the occupants of the property that we were meant to be in and they had been told there was a mistake by the owners and the property was double booked (contrary to what we’re told).
Communal areas were delightful and quirky. Convenient location.
