We booked a fairly last minute stay to celebrate our upcoming wedding anniversary, and being heavily pregnant I was looking for somewhere cosy, relaxing and rejuvenating. We were ever so kindly given a complimentary upgrade to the Elysian, and our suite was absolutely stunning. Incredibly spacious, modern and comfortable. I loved the thoughtful extras, like the ice machine and the 'proper' coffee machine with milk frother! The view across the balcony onto the fields was beautiful, and really set the scene when relaxing in the hot tub. The lovely breakfast was easily ordered via a QR code from the room, and delivered to the room in the morning - big portions, kept us full all day! The bed was incredibly comfortable - no easy feat at this stage of my pregnancy, and was greatly appreciated to have been given extra pillows as requested (pillows also incredibly soft!). We paid the extra for the late checkout, which made the stay feel far less rushed in the morning. The staff were lovely and friendly, and we would absolutely love to stay here again and be able to fully appreciate the sauna and hot tub etc. Thank you for our much needed break!

I really don’t feel it was value for money. 1 night here middle of the week I feel was just far too expensive For one night and two people to cost the amount it did without any of the extras ordered doesn’t really leave any room or affordability to buy the hampers or bottles. The weather (not the establishments fault) did mean things like the hot tub were of course less appealing but i stayed in the lakes for several days but could only afford to stay here for one day really and then stayed of similar quality elsewhere. Again, the staff were excellent and the establishment is comfortable but just was not worth the money when also including costs of your actual trip to the lakes I.e going out to eat. Breakfast also didn’t seem to pay attention to notes about the food when it came to overnight oats

The service wasn't good. If you wanted to swap some items in breakfast you could only choose extra harshbrows so couple in front of us where vegetarians and couldn't pick anything different. Location is not the best either. Definitely not worth the asking price. Even cutting it in half would be still questionable. Oh and had no robes either.

The rooms look nice, hot to and jacuzzi but that's pretty much it. Rooms where clean.

Room layout, did not look as big as it did on the pictures, and was easy to bang your head on the ceiling due to the facilities being so far back. Fire only lasted so long. balcony lights would not knock off which disturbed sleep and was annoying when sat in the hot tub at night. Glass round the hot tub would have been better the other way round so you could have a view whilst in the hot tub and be hidden when getting out and walking to the door. Damage deposit so in the fine print not clear - would have been better paying it in with the price of the room. Breakfast was not great and disappointing for this kind of place. Paid £30 to stay an extra hour and a half and hot tub would not heat up and hot water on tap stopped working, also fire would not come on the next day

Cleanliness, cosy and comfortable.

There wasn't anything not to like about this cabin and set up, however, a couple of suggestions that could enhance any future stays in that particular cabin (and this is us just being picky). We stayed in February and so the outside temperature was particularly cold. If there is a possibility of providing bath robes and outside hooks for the hot tub this would have made the experience a little more comfortable when hopping in and out of the tub. Secondly, a mat just inside the door. You are stepping straight from the outside onto the carpet and this would let guests remove footwear without dirtying/making wet the carpet.

Very comfortable enclosed private cabin. The choice of hot tub, jacuzzi bath (with TV) and shower/steam room were excellent. Great choices of coffee/tea/hot chocolate with added bonus of real milk! The breakfast delivery was also a great plus for our stay. All staff were helpful and cheerful and ensured our every need were catered for. Thankyou to them especially!

The breakfast wasn’t the best but it was brought up to the room which was a lovely bonus.

Beautifully clean and amazing rooms . We stayed in room 3 the “love suite”, which was stunning . It came with a spa bath, a hot tub and a sit down steam shower. The bed was super comfortable and so was the sofa. The staff were super friendly and welcoming.

At approximately 08:00 construction work started I had traveled back from Ukraine the previous day and was exhausted and was looking forward to have a lay in. Also at 09:00 a male worked knocked on my door and asked to enter my room to locate a box to switch something of. I also couldn’t get a late checkout due to the construction.

The property was clean and luxurious. The perfect night stay for my partners birthday night away. Will 1000% be booking up again for a longer stay. Was located right next to the lake / town which is very easy to get to from where we stayed. Staff were polite and just brilliant and brought our breakfast to our door at our desired time. Loved it and will be returning from Newcastle!
