Arden House is a stunning retreat nestled in a serene area, boasting an exquisite garden that adds to its charm. We had the pleasure of staying in one of their self-catering apartments for our wedding, and it was nothing short of perfect. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Despite dealing with personal matters, they made the effort to greet us personally, which we deeply appreciated. Their thoughtful gesture of presenting us with homemade brownies as a wedding compliment was a delightful surprise that added a sweet touch to our special occasion. We wholeheartedly recommend Arden House for its exceptional hospitality, tranquil setting, and beautiful accommodations. It truly exceeded our expectations and made our wedding experience unforgettable.

All restaurants in the village close fairly early and will not accept food orders after around 8pm. But the host had good recommendations, and it was clear from the guest book that this was the case.

Stunning location. Very friendly service and communication from the host. Everything was exceptionally clean and welcoming, and Dawn looked after us every day. Excellent attention to detail, and lots of good advice in the hotel guest book.

We stayed at Arden House for three nights. The house is old, Victorian style and has a lot of charm. It has been perfectly renovated and tastefully decorated. The host was charming and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. She even welcomed us with the traditional cup of tea. The room was comfortable and the bathroom modern. The whole place was remarkably clean. The breakfast was excellent and very copious. We would definitely go back if we were ever in Scotland again.

Everything. From the moment you arrive at Arden House you are on holiday. Dawn is the perfect host and has thought of everything for your stay. Arden House is truly a home from home. The breakfast selection is wonderful and lots of the items are home made. Perfect location for walking the nearby hills. Dawn and Arden House are a perfect example of Scottish hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble. An exceptional Bed and Breakfast.

Fantastic property in a lovely location. Hosts went beyond welcoming to make our stay enjoyable. Room was a delight and very comfortable as was the additional sitting room. It’s the extra care that made it special, home baked brownies and muffins. Plenty of information on the area and advice on where to eat, etc.

Superb location to enjoy Callander and the surrounding area. The breakfast prepared by Dawn was fantastic and the views from the property were stunning. The facilities in the room were top notch too!

Eveything was just so perfect.

Dawn was brilliant from the second we entered our studio. Nothing was a bother. Superbly equipped kitchen, super powerful shower and a lovely sitting-room. Fantastic welcome pack - maps, local walks all easy to find too!

The property is elegant, comfortable, beautifully maintained and was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, providing an excellent service, with exceptional attention to detail. The room was bright, airy and well proportioned with lovely furnishings and double aspect views of the surrounding hills and town. Breakfast was provided in the room due to COVID and this too was of an exceptional standard. I highly recommend and will certainly return!

Everything about Arden House is stunning. Set in picturesque and peaceful surroundings. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed and exceptionally clean. Dawn is a wonderful and friendly host and nothing is too much trouble. We also got to meet Fern the puppy who is too cute. We will definitely stay again.
