From the minute we arrived Johnny met us we were made so welcome. Room was lovely clean and bed was comfy couldn't ask for more. Wee makeup wipes and all in bathroom. We met John and he served us drink in the bar and kept us entertained. John kindly left us down to the town get something to eat and collected us. John and Johnny were so accommodating it was unreal. And the breakfast beaut just what was needed for journey home. We will be back for sure this place is a hidden treasure. Thank you Johnny and John

. This was my second stay here. I visited in January with my sister daughter and daughter in law for my sisters birthday. We loved it so much I returned with my friends for a mother's day treat. And they loved it too. John is a most friendly host. The rooms are beautiful. Breakfast excellent. John gave us a lift in to town and collected us later ...So rare nowadays to find such a great place with everything you could need in such a fabulous spot with spectacular views but also so close to town. I would not hesitate to book. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back. Wee weekend with the hubby next time. John is a fantastic host. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Love it.

I would highly reccommend a stay at Ardgort country house.John was an amazing host. From we arrived until we left nothing was too much trouble. The room was also amazing with lots of natural daylight and views of mountains.Beautifully decorated and huge. The beds were so comfy and great shower.Also a beautiful dressing table and mirror for doing make up. A table with chairs and bench in room . And brilliant balcony also with outdoor seating. We were a group of four friends and we had a great time. You could walk into town in 5 mins and a local spar 2 mins down the road. John made us beautiful cocktails in the lovely bar area with fire blazing and a gorgeous fry up in the morning with lovely tea and coffee. There was also tea coffee biscuits and snacks in room. This is an amazing hidden gem and John is the nicest person and so professional and even gave us some lovely chocolates when we were leaving. Tilly the beautiful dog was also so friendly. Cracking stay and highly recommend. Dont hesitate to book. You will not be disappointed. Thank you John. We love your place and you are an amazing host. We hope to be back soon.

A well built and maintained house with nice gardens and it's own bar downstairs. John was a gentleman and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. Tilly the dog greeting me at the front door (Outside) was a really nice surprise too, she's a dote! The balcony and the comfortably furnished room was a welcome end to a long day of walking and driving. A little off the beaten track if you're touring the main roads, but well worth a stay, driving through some nice farmland scenery. There's a petrol station 2 minutes from the door too! Thanks for having me, I'll be back again! 😊

I had reason to stay at the this property over the bank holiday period and it is a great place to stay in the area. The house is well maintained, spotless and very comfortable. We were a family of four staying and John went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable. By way of example, he set up a table for us beside a warm stove to eat the meal we had procured at a local restaurant. I would be more than happy to stay again when visiting the area, thanks

There was nothing to dislike.

I wasn't sure what to expect of Ardgort House, but I was blown away by how friendly and helpful the host was, how lovely and bright and spacious the room was, and by the lovely added extras of a beautiful balcony with countryside views and a lovely in-house pub with pool table. We had the perfect stay and it was jsut what we wanted. We will definitely be back.

That I couldn't stay longer!

The nights stay was fab, made by the owner John. He was such an amazing host, chatted with us all night. Kept the drinks flowing and the music going for us into the small hours! On departure this morning he gave us all a box of milk tray each. So thoughtful and will definitely be back to stay next year.

Nice accommodation but the star of the show had to be the host John. Absolute gent, with a very warm, welcoming approach that made our stay all the more pleasant. Good nights sleep with a filling breakfast that covered all the bases & set us up for exploring.

We had a lovely nights stay for our first year anniversary the bed was so comfortable, nothing was too much hassle and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar lovely relaxing atmosphere and the owner couldn’t be more accommodating. Will be back soon we booked a room with a balcony which was just lovely for the views and enjoy a morning cuppa on. Thank you for our stay it was so enjoyable and relaxing.

Wow this is a wee gem of a place! Service was fantastic, first class couldn't of been more friendly and helpful. The country house was spotless, comfortable and spacious. Central in the town and to all facilities. Breakfast was beautiful and we had the loveliest nights stay here. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!
