The only thing I would say is that the room I had was quite small. It was absolutely fine for one or two nights but one of the bigger rooms would be better for longer stays. The price I paid totally reflects this and I don't have any issues as I was only there for two nights. Also, as a smaller room, it didn't have a microwave. This would have been useful as the resturants in Wooler can be booked up on a Friday & Saturday night. This is no criticism of the accommodation itself - which was very nice. All of this information is clear before booking - these are just just things to consider.

Great setting. Wooler is a lovely little town and the property has been well renovated and nicely decorated. Communication prior to my stay was great. The check in process was simple. Nice clean, quiet room.

The only tiny thing is the side blinds didn’t reach the windowsill. It made getting my little girl to sleep with the light nights a challenge.

The room was beautiful and very clean. Check in and check out was so easy.

Four flights of stairs up. In our seventies was abit difficult, but for more active guests no problem.

The parking could be an issue

This was perfect start to finish. We stayed here for one night. Needing somewhere close to Chillingham castle. The self check in was easy to use and a first for myself and friend. The room was on the top floor which was not a problem for us. Lovely clean decor, spacious and light. The single beds and covers etc were soooo comfortable. There is also a little kitchen area with coffee machine, kettle, and microwave. The shower room was immaculate and perfect for what we needed. With the added extras of some lovely shampoo, shower gel etc. Defiantly be back to exore more of the area.

Rooms aren’t dark as blinds don’t fully cover windows. Think car parking may become an issue in future as there are other properties converting to holiday lets.

The room was cold on first entering, but easy to use heating controls warmed it up fairly quickly.

The self check in was excellent with easy to use digital PIN code locks, both on the main entrance and room door. The location on the high street was easy to find and parking opposite no problem whatsoever. The room itself was more than adequate; kettle, coffee pod machine and mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. It was also very quiet with no noise from outside.

We were missing some coffee capsules for the machine, which was a shame as we were looking forward to a coffee ahead of our early start.

You can tell that this is a business run by someone who cares their customers have a good expereince. Ben was really helpful and a prompt communicator ahead of and during our stay. The room itself was lovely and just as described. We found it and gained access easily. The space is really nice and the facilities excellent. Wooler is a nice little town.

We liked absolutely everything about this property ! It’s decor , it’s cleanliness , the fact we could make a coffee before goikg for milk as there was coffee Milk and sugar there , we could have a shower aswell as there were products , it’s just an absolutely fantastic place to stay for such an amazing price …

We booked quite late and the automated update service did not send the booking code so I had to make some calls to get the code. Once I'd received it however, self check in worked well.

The room is stylish and comfortable, really good quality fittings and nicely kitted out. A great place for one night or would be great for a base for a longer holiday.

The booking required an online ID check before check in details were released. This is non standard practice in my experience of booking many places and I was not happy to give up my personal data to a platform I could not easily verify for authenticity. However the owner was very accommodating and agreed to verify via a separate call. We had problems with the auto room entry keypad on arrival. Turned out the check in details were wrong telling us to use a * when should be a # but we figured that out ourselves. On several occasions the correctly entered digits did not always unlock the door and we had try repeatedly until it worked - can't help but think that a standard key would be less stressful for guests!

Room & ensuite very clean and small kitchenette is great with microwave/fridge/kettle etc (addition of a toaster would make it perfect!) Location in high street is very convenient and had no problem with the free overnight parking which is a couple of minutes walk away

Fantastic property! Been renovated to a very high standard, immaculate through out. Added benefit of a boot room with washer/drier.. Brilliant location for trips around Northumberland. Can’t wait to go back!

The heating appeared to time out after a number of hours and had to be re-set to provide heating. As a result it was difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Large bedroom and bathroom, very clean. Everything (apart from tempermental heating) was perfect!

Overall the property was really good, but our room (Cold Law) was located downstairs right next to the front door. When other residents were coming and going, the front door would always slam shut, which was extremely loud and shook the wall which the bed is up against. If we ever stay again we’d definitely request a different room.

Rooms decorated really well and were very clean. Bed was very comfortable.
