Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had a standard family room with my husband and children, staff was really nice, room was clean and spacious. The reception area is clean and welcoming. Overall i would stay here again we all had a good night's sleep and a night away from home.

United KingdomNo chair or mirror in room, Breakfast served later than we needed so we had to miss it. Broken shower so you had to hold shower head to us. Single glazed windows so was a little noisy
Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. When we asked to change rooms and provided extra towel this was no problem. They helped with bags upstairs. Provided chair from bar so we could use it in room. The hotel is very close to winter gardens which is why we booked.

United KingdomWe were charged £120 cash deposit due to the farmers event being held on same weekend. We were told the room would be checked within 5 mins of checkout, due to having to be not missing daughters dance sections. When we went to check out there was a big queue and kindly other guests let us move up the queue to stop us missing sections at dance. So that information was incorrect. Plus we were given a hand written receipt on a piece of paper to say we'd paid the deposit, which for me isn't safe or reassuring.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice and chatty and opened breakfast early for us as we were at a Childrens dance competition during the weekend. Very warm and homely feel at the hotel. Room was very clean and tidy.

United KingdomA little tired in areas, the shower head & holder were broken (nothing that can’t be replaced) but didn’t impact our stay as we could still shower and stay clean.
Great location to the Tower and beach front with only a short 5 minute walk to arrive at both. Room was clean and tidy and we all felt comfortable there and slept well. Beds were clean, with crisp sheets and duvets. Room had been cleaned as we arrived as the cleaner was leaving our room as we entered. Receptionist was pleasant and explained everything for us.

United KingdomTwin room needed updating, however was told they had just reopened after doing some work, so could possibly be working on the rooms. Advertised as having a lift however lift was not in use and had a unit Infront of it. Only other problem we had was the room downstairs for breakfast was very cold and could have done with having the heating on. And minor issues we wish the Croissants was warm or could have had the option to warm them up.
Staff was really helpful and attentive, booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Wow what a difference in the two rooms. Double room was lovely and you could tell it had just been redecorated, however the twin room needed updating. However we only wanted it for a bed and the location was fantastic as we was dancing at the winter gardens which the hotel is just behind, and is only a 6min walk. Breakfast was included in the price, was only a simple continental, however you can't grumble.

United KingdomWas advertised with a lift , the lift was broke I had asked for a lower floor as I struggle walking we were put 4 flights of stairs up.
Breakfast was advertised as full English but it was continental, even so it was nice. The room looked recently done and it was clean. The window needed needed replacing so we didn't attempt to open it.
