An absolute gem of a hotel. A delightful room overlooking a beautiful garden. All the staff were kind, thoughtful and went the extra mile. The breakfasts were fantastic and set me up for the day ahead. I also enjoyed my two delicious evening meals in the Restaurant so much. I’ll definitely book again. Thank you.

The room showed on when i was booking was totally different room the one they gave me then i had to pay extraa to get a better room, small double room is too small, i had to pay extra to get better room, but staff was very nice and very helpful, hotel was very clean and peacefull.

There was alot of slamming of doors at night and loud conversation. Although the hotel didn't appear to be full the rooms allocated seemed to all be together in our corner. Check out wasn't until 11am but a lady let herself into our room while we were packing to leave. This was about 10am and she didn't knock just opened the door.

Our room had everything we needed in it and was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was lovely and warm and we liked the modern shower. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and we had a very good full english breakfast which was very good. We didn't use the lounge room but thought the honesty system for drinks was a great idea and there was plenty of choice of drinks to have. We really liked the feel of the hotel and the decor and extra finishing touches. The restaurant area is lovely with a nice view of the lovely garden.

We felt the bed was too soft and on arrival we were told we couldn’t have evening meal due to a function. We felt they should have informed prior to our arrival

Beautiful, clean hotel. So satisfied with my stay and the food. I would highly recommend. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Personally loved standing by the pond watching the fishes. Rooms just a tiny bit oppressive in being small and bare. Really would benefit from a few nice pictures on the wall and a shelf for kettle rather than the insubstantial little camping table. The rooms were beautifully decorated so deserve a bit of ‘finishing’. It would make all the difference and really brighten it up I think.
