Mugs in the room had chips in the rim. Bath plug didn't fit very well. Breakfast more expensive if you don't book the day before.

Corridor doors were noisy so could hear people walking down the corridor when in your room.

Breakfast arrangements on the Sunday

On Sunday we had to collect the breakfast from a different room and hot food was already prepared neither if which was ideal. On Monday however food was cooked fresh - really good. We liked the addition of air conditioning to the room. Bed was comfortable too

The staff were so friendly and helpful! I would like to mention Aga, Sarah and Sam who were all amazing, it makes such a big difference having welcoming , smiley staff who went above and beyond to make our stay great! The beds were super comfy, the room was very clean and the breakfast had a nice variety , we are overall very happy with our stay whilst we were at a music festival

Function rooms didn’t offer a lot of privacy for some parties and ours became a cut through for another group to the car park. Car park spaces very small and poor signage to other car park areas. A lot of inexperienced staff who were left to cope with large numbers of people at the bar. Would have been nice if there was food available to order in the evening. Background hum from fan in bathroom.

Lovely setting and the inside was lovely. Excellent breakfast great choice and very tasty. Room was huge and was clean, although my room was not serviced on the day after I arrived.

Like many hotels, some parts could do with updating, some wallpaper bubbling, some parts of bathroom and carpets a little tired. However this did not affect my overall enjoyment.

Can highly recommend. We were so impressed with this hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and very well presented. The room was spacious with a gorgeous outlook onto the grass and trees. We had pre booked breakfast to be included and it was so much better than I expected. Incredible value with an impressive selection and very accommodating to dietary requirements. The breakfast restaurant was peaceful and relaxing.

The bathroom was ridiculous when supposed to be an upgraded room was smallest bathroom I’ve ever been into yet could have had a party in my Penthouse didn’t make sense very disappointed with that I thought would have had a bath as well at least and a shower with a curtain!!!

I wouldn't say didn't like. However I have a disability and as much as our room was very accessible the bathroom floor was very slippery after a shower, apart from that everything else was wonderful

The room we were in was very dark. Dark brown carpet, dark wooden wardrobe. I would upgrade if I stayed again.

The entrance was lovely. Entry through the gates and the drive up to the building is beautiful. The entrance into the hall is lovely. Rabbits were running around the green which was nice to see. The grounds were very nice.

The TV was a bit hit and miss and kept pixilating, but that was a minor issue.

The value for money. We were upgraded to a lovely room and we only wish we had time to stay longer. We will definitely be staying again on our next trip. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the setting was lovely; waking up to see all the wildlife in the grounds was a real highlight. The fan in the room was particularly welcoming in the hot weather.

Bathroom was small, especially compared to bedroom. A fridge would be a very useful addition. On 2nd night there was a large wedding function which was very noisy, with a few going at 4am. Recommend checking if wedding is on as this will limit your access to some areas.

Very large corner room with great views. Large bed. Free electric car charge point. Nice and quiet on 1st night (when no wedding function).
