I cannot think of anything on the top of my head that I did not like.

I liked how friendly the staff was, how easy it was to do the check-in and check-out.

Nice location facilities perfect and nice. Keep up few places needs attention on cab webs to be clear in some of bathroom and bedroom. It's good for money.

Place ok but need to have female or male hostel than mixed room for those who don't mine or can manage. Some of us are not comfortable to mix room with male without knowing them or background. Also hotel cleaner to be well educate to greet when they find people in rooms when they come to lay beds and other, polite greeting will restore dignity and respect among staff and lodgers. Lastly time set for lodgers unable to use kitchen to be looked @once again. There should be a bit of flexibility because some of us use your place to stay and do some Long day shifts ,coming late and kitchen is close because late hour , l think we are adults.

Just like most hostels,there is no reliable room for quiet relaxation, study, watching mobile phone TV with earpods in peace. Always music in the bar, which drifts into lounge and kitchen, ir big tv in lounge sometimes. If I needs more peace to watch my phone i had to go to the library Snorers and one or two less friendly people can happen anywhere

Always a sociable positive vibe from the staff, it's a very friendly hostel usually. All facilities are good especially the kitchen and you can make tea anytime with milk provided. If you go there it's nice to join in the spirit of the place and talk to people and be friendly and happy

Close to the train station and not far from town, friendly Aussie staff, and old but charming old house, kitchen was functional.

The kitchen got quite busy at times but that can be expected in a hostel so nothing we didn't like.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was clean with great utilities. The location was awesome and was only a quick walk out of town. Would definitely stay here again.

I felt the breakfast was not as expected, and could be improved.

The staff were amiable and helpful. The bed was a bit stiff for my liking but it was clean and well maintained. The washrooms were clean and well-maintained. The location is just 15 mins walk from York Station and 25 mins walk to the centre but I didn't find that a problem. The area around the stay was nice, quiet and peaceful.

The water in the shower would change temperatures all the time, if I wanted hot, it would last for a moment and get cold and then hot and it was like that continually.

Some guests with no education and manners that think they are alone in the hostel. I barely slept because of people on my room. But this is not the hostel fault at all. They can not educate people

The staff is lovely. The bed is very comfortable and the room is quite clean. The common areas are so nice as well and there is a patio. Is a very good hostel and the location is not bad. Maybe 15/20 minutes walking to the city centre. The kitchen is very good as well and they have breakfast.

A really nice place to stay! Very friendly and helpful staff! The room and the toilet were clean and tidy. A really nice bar downstairs, so you can chat with other travellers and chill a bit! Had a really nice stay over there! Would definitely recommend! 😎☺️😁

Nothing to dislike.

The friendly atmosphere. I have stayed here before and the staff are really lovely and make you feel so welcome. I met some lovely fellow guests whilst here, and enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it. A great place to chill-out. Spotlessly clean, with a huge and well-equipped kitchen, very cosy lounge and perfect for York centre - bus stop right outside the hostel or 20 minutes on foot to city centre.
