We booked all 12 rooms for family and friends attending a wedding nearby. We were really well looked after as a big group and very grateful to all the staff for their attention and service. Rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. Food was fantastic too. Thank you for looking after us all so well.

We arrived to a warm welcome from staff. The property was spotlessly clean and the room had everything needed for a short stay. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and cooked to perfection. All in all a, very pleasant experience at a fantastic price.

Room was a little small but the pub was large so you could have sat down there if you wanted

The hotel was clean, lots of parking and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had very good facilities with lovely ground coffee. The toiletries in the room were good quality The food was excellent

Fantastic place loved the style very original in keeping with the old Hurn railway station excellent accomodation and Sunday roast to die for very scrummy and breakfast lovely definitely stay there again if we visiting the area.

Sarah was super friendly and very helpfull. This hotel was extremely dog friendly. Convenient location for surrounding area. Hotel provided great breakfast too.

The pub and hotel were clean and most of the staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was really good and freshly prepared. Cafetiere coffee and fresh milk in the rooms was a lovely touch, but not sure what to do with the used coffee grains to have more than one cup.

Off the beaten track .. you need a car to see the sites but that’s why we went there as it’s perfect value for money compared to the coastal properties.

Nothing of note, they even give you an insulated bottle of real actual milk (yes actual milk, not the annoying little UHT pots - why doesn’t everywhere do that??) - and proper decent cafetière coffee - homemade cookies.. and dog treat biscuits?!

Staying in Bournemouth? It’s a run down hole these days.. Don’t - stay here instead! A real proper decent spacious pub, a real proper hotel - excellent food, beyond excellent staff, lovely rooms and perfect location.. even dog friendly and yet doesn’t have the faintest odour of dogs in any of the rooms. I am of an age and lucky position to travel the world 1st class, stay in many 5 star hotels and yet always love coming to this place when visiting family in the region. Always feels like home from home not least because of the 2 wonderful ladies who run it. Put their hearts and souls into the place - hope the owners appreciate how valuable such committed staff they have.. and if your flying out of the airport and stay here overnight before travelling - suggest you get here early and enjoy the place - bet wherever you go to isn’t as good as the place you leave to go for your trip..except maybe the weather!
