Beautiful Georgian building in lovely surroundings. Very spacious room regally decorated. Very comfortable bed.had everything one could need for a perfect stay.lovely breakfast in the lovely conservatory.

Sink was loose - I could have lifted it out and taken it away. Some small decorative upgrades needed. Creaky floorboards on floor above; I am a sensitive sleeper so will ask for a top floor room next time. TV worked but was small and a bit temperamental off the remote but not a deal breaker.

Hotel needs some minor repairs and renovations but the room was comfortable, bed exceptional, mostly clean especially the bedding. Nice view to garden but backs on to a retail park - no noise in the evening. Decent condiments and reasonable breakfast.

Friendly and welcoming. Beautiful features. Room was big and very luxurious. The bed was so comfortable! No indoor or outside noise could be heard. Everything was to hand and the property is close to the Town Centre. Parking was no problem. Gorgeous breakfast with a variety of foods available. Highly recommend staying here. Fantastic value for money with all the luxury at a low price.

We unfortunately had a room at the front that looked out in the road. At night we sleep with the window open so it was quite loud.

Lovely country house style hotel and in a convenient location - 5 minute walk from the train station and less than a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The room was spacious and had everything we needed - tea/coffee making, ironing board, comfy bed and toiletries. The breakfast was superb on both days and a large selection of jams on offer which can also be purchased. Adam was very friendly and helpful. There is a pretty little courtyard area to sit outside and the breakfast room was lovely and bright right next to the garden. Great value for money for all that was on offer. Would highly recommend.

A little TLC needed in some minor decorative areas in the room but this did not detract from a lovely spacious bedroom.

The A465 is a main road and can be busy. Our room faced the road, so if we opened the window there was ineviatably some traffic noise (hence the fan). However, there is secondary glazing, so the traffic noise can be minimised. Being on the third floor, it took some time for warm water to reach the sink in the bathroom.

Very friendly owners and staff making you feel very welcome. We had arrived by train and before check-in time, but they were more than happy to store our bag whilst we walked into the city centre. Many period features throughout the building and nicely decorated. Comfortable, roomy bedroom with plenty of storage. Huge, comfortable bed. The room contained additional small heater, fan, iron etc so everything is available to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Great shower. Good choice of tea, coffee in the room and complimentary bottled water available in the downstairs hallway. Excellent breakfast served in the lovely garden room. Ideally located for train station (5 minutes walk) and city centre (10 minutes walk), on the A465 main road into and out of Hereford. Due to the covid knock-on effect and the rising costs of living, the hotel restaurant is sadly no longer open, but the owners are happy for guests to order food in which they can eat in their room. They also provide suggestions and contacts for local eateries. We had one small issue, which was brilliantly handled by the staff and the owner which went above and beyond expectation.
