The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The lodge itself was cosy and comfortable - absolutely loved the underfloor heating. Has everything you need and the hot tub was an amazing addition. We sat in it late in the evening and listened to the owl and the wildlife

The location is perfect for a quiet secluded get away, the facilities are everything you could need for self catering. The hot tub is a huge bonus and always makes our stay more exciting. The under floor heating for our winter stay made it so much more comfortable. The added little extras such as the dog bowls and bed and the treat for him were welcome and the milk in the fridge so we could have a cup of tea when we arrived. Thank you for this amazing gem of a place

Felt very secluded which was good. Room was set up well, really liked the decoration style. Bed was very comfortable and the hot ub is a huge plus. Clean and tidy with milk and biscuits available along with the tea/coffee.

From the moment we arrived it was perfect! The view. The peacefulness, the surroundings. And that's before we even get inside! On arrival we was greated by the owner and given a little tour. Found they had left us a bottle of wine in the fridge. And then we met our furry little friend Sally. If you've stayed here then you will know all about the legend that is Sally! The hot tub was amazing. If I could I'd of stayed in there all day and night. Inside was perfect. It felt like home. The view looking out was amazing and can only imagine it's ten times better in the snow! The bed was comfy. The bathroom was spacious. Above all else the whole place was imaculate. I actually can't put into works how great the place is. If you can get there GO!

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about our stay.

Beautiful gardens. Our children loved watching the rabbits play in the bottom field. The lodge was gorgeous, warm with heated floors and central heating. The bed was really comfortable, beating our own at home. We were made to feel so welcome, despite being an hour early for check in, Edward was very friendly. We had towels, bedding, home comforts, a BBQ ready to use and the hot tub had been cleaned especially and was kept warm.

the only thing I didn’t like was the fact I had to go home and back work the next day wish we stayed longer

we loved everything about the place it was so quiet all you could hear was birds, the place is spotless and had absolutely everything you could think of in the kitchen the whole place had everything you needed and the hosts are lovely and welcoming, hot tub was amazing sorted my bad neck out
