The owners of the Hotel were lovely and very welcoming. They were always about first thing in the morning and the evening, very visible. Gillian who was responsible for hospitality was very personable and friendly.

Doors don't have dead locks. I forgot to lock room when we were getting ready for a night out and someone tried to enter the room. Luckily I managed to stop them before the were fully in the room.

A lift would have helped with the luggage. Although staff had said we could ask for help. The first night we came back from dinner with friends at 10.30 pm, the hotel was locked, night porter was not in reception our key’s would not open the identified door the phone number went to answer phone. Eventually a member of the bar staff heard us knocking.

Breakfast selection was excellent but as a serious coffee drinker l would have preferred a freshly prepared coffee rather than filtered. Also a proper hot chocolate would have been preferred by my daughter.

We had been at a wedding and were a little late for breakfast which was included in the price. Didn’t even get an option to ask about it… the man running breakfast was locking up as we arrived down at 10am. I would say 10am isn’t enough time if you have been at a wedding. There are a lot of wedding venues in the area so they really need to consider that?

Not quite enough places to put things in the room....Only one armchair in king room for two, and no drawers to put things in. No place to lay sponge bag in bathroom and no towel rail which is a bit odd. The bathroom door would not open if closed from the inside, luckily my partner was on hand to let me out, if I had been a single traveller I would still be in there until rescued! Overall good but rather sparse.

Breakfast was good. Room clean. Comfortable bed. Handy location.

Had to get into at first no welcome or any member of staff to greet us. But after walking round for 5 minutes we finally was greeted by a lovely gentleman The morning staff need some training greeting and welcoming customers to tables ect

View an room was beautiful however it was a little cold in the night. There was no extra blankets and no house keeping which I was very surprised at. No clean towels or bedding

To be picky the towel hooks in the bathroom weren’t suitable to hold towels. Shower seemed to flood bathroom floor. Girl at breakfast was pleasant but seemed to lack confidence.

Modern, clean, fit for purpose. Car parking available. Tall gentleman was really helpful and pleasant. Bar joke of the month, cocktails.

No bath mat or towel rail/radiator in the bathroom.

The staff were lovely, very cheery and helpful. Location is great just on the edge of Crail but walking distance to the centre. A nice big room with new bathroom. Lovely sea view. Food was very good.
