Honestly hands down, one of the best places we have stayed! The lodge is beautiful! Absolutely everything you need, and the hot tub! Wow! Amazing! It’s so peaceful and really beautiful setting. Even put up a banner and balloons for my husbands birthday. Honestly I could write all day about what a fantastic place this is! But just book and see for yourselves, you won’t regret it! Not a big problem was actually our entertainment we had a little guest who kept pecking at the door to get in, but was no problem soon went away.

Lodge was amazing really good decoration all wooden, wooden bed, table etc.. location fantastic very secluded and private even though their was other guests staying there, privacy was great. Jacuzzi. Was already set up and warm. Welcome pack was lovely touch, it included:- Wine, milk, coffee, tea bags, chocolate bars, biscuits, jam, water, towels, slippers, dressing gowns, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Had tv which had built in apps such as Netflix, prime etc.. PlayStation and Bose Bluetooth music player. Was just perfect night away for my partners birthday very relaxing just what we needed, so thank you.

The only small improvement would be although the bed is lovely and the headboard was really nice, there is a large gap between the bottom of the head board and the bed so the pillows wouldn't stay in place and kept falling down there in the night

Fabulous clean lodge. Excellent facilities, comfy bed, fab hot tub! We stayed here in 2020 pre covid and have been wanting to return. It did not disappoint! Fabulous lodge, so clean, the extras of a bottle of wine is such a nice touch, too. We will be returning again sometime!

Booked for a one night get away with my partner, exceeded all my expectations. This is a lovely find, stunning place. Very clean and very well equipped, everything available needed for a comfortable stay. Some lovely added touches too which were nice. Hot tub was lovely warm and clean. The bed is very comfortable, best night sleep I’ve had in ages. I had a morning coffee sat out watching the ducks, so peaceful and very aesthetically pleasing. Host was very responsive to messages before the stay. Will definitely be returning. Book it, you won’t be disappointed x

Balmoral is a spacious studio lodge. We stayed there three days It is perfect for sleeping in and chilling in bed not much of a sitting room a perfect cabin for a fisherman and his partner. With the luxuries of the hot tub and close to lake fishing. Windsor lodge is a much bigger separate bedroom, open plan living room, kitchen very large with cooker microwave, pots and pans comes furnished even has a cheese grater, all you have to do is buy your food and you're ready to cook. We preferred Windsor as we had a lot more room to breathe. Very nice tidy site, friendly staff too.

We have no negatives to our experience here, the only thing I can think of is the ducks and geese trying to steal our food but that just adds to the memories and made us laugh, so we didn’t mind at all.

Such a beautiful place to stay, we were so pleasantly surprised at how perfect the whole stay was. It was clean and beautiful, included everything we could possibly need and the area was so peaceful, it felt as if we were the only people there which was lovely. It exceeded all of our expectations and we loved that we were completely left to ourselves, able to let ourselves in and out as we pleased. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
