I didn't dislike anything! Everything was perfect!

Everything! The Rooms were cozy, spacious, and comfortable, the location was perfect, and the host was amazing! Breakfast was also phenomenal! My brother and sister-in-law stayed here for a two-day portion of our Scottish adventures, and we agreed after that this was our favorite stay!

Balmridge House is run by a lovely couple Jane and Jim. Upon arrival we entered a very cosy and homey B&B with a very nice view of the sheep. There is a lot tender & love and care added to all small details in the room. Cooked Breakfast is wonderful and the coffee is delicious. Jane will patiently explain you all the routes and is a wonderful and open person. Thank you for making us feel at home and keep the passion! Warmest regards Julian& Karen

Very clean and peaceful BB. We both had perfect stay and feel like being home. Jane did her best to make our Loch Ness trip perfect. We both feel so blessed to meet this BB. Absolutely recommended.

The shower pressure was a bit weak.

Gorgeous guest house beautifully decorated with attention to detail in my room. The miniature decanter of sherry to the homemade cake made this a most enjoyable stay. Jane and James were attentive personable and professional. Nothing was too much. In fact I felt guilty that I couldn't request anything as all my needs were catered for.

Landlady Jane was always kind and helpful. Beautifully furnished room wirh afternoon tea including fresh muffins or fudge. Full cooked breakfast in the morning. Nice lounge to spend some time.

This facility was built to be a B&B; thus, it is well-laid out and very efficient. Jane, our host, is super nice and accommodating. A walking trail is nearby, also a convenient restaurant only a short walk away. The breakfasts were outstanding. We were invited to share in an anniversary party (62 years married) while there.

The breakfast was not quite what we had expected. Lots of fruits, but it was a bit smaller than we are used to, so we went for eggs somewhere else. Also the shower is so small that soaping up is a bit of a challenge.

Very nice and quiet room, with a very soft bed and matching blanket. As the location is just a little away from the main road, also no traffic noises. Clearly decorated with care for detail leading to many positive surprises when roaming through the room. Also good wifi.

It was a shame we had single beds as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary but Jane bought us a card and bottle of bubbly which was a lovely touch and I believe all rooms had flowers in them which was lovely. Sadly it was the only room available when we booked.

Jane is the perfect host; very friendly, informative and accommodating. Quiet but beautiful surroundings, we had lovely walks, boat trip on Loch Ness, visited the exhibition centre and local castle plus had tea and petted the local Coos. Loch Ness Inn, recommended by Jane had lovely food too. A treat couple of nights, well worthwhile visiting.

The room was cosy and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with good quality ingredients (you can choose between a continental or full Scottish breakfast). The host was very kind and welcoming, she thought of everything, she recommended places for dinner and sites to visit nearby.

We loved our stay here! The room is nice, clean and the beds were the most comfortable of our 2-week trip. But what really stands out is the friendly host that makes you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive. The hospitality and warmth is very noticeable, we even got a little snack for our evening tea waiting for us in the room. The location just outside of the village is perfect for day trips while still being quiet. Views from the breakfast room are stunning.
