Black out blinds in Custom House room would have been great as there were big windows and very light early in the morning.

There’s nothing not to like. Could just do with a bit of maintenance as it’s looking quite sad and tired

I love the Bank House and stayed many times before. A great location for the town. Met friends and family and went to a show at the Corn Exchange. Little has changed over the years but the staff are always welcoming and accommodating. Great breakfast too

Lovely spot, a very nice historic building, tastefully styled. The breakfast was delicious, great ingredients and well cooked. We stayed in custom house room, very spacious and comfortable, the bath was a lovely size for relaxing in. The parking situation is pretty easy to navigate, so it certainly shouldn't put you off.

The breakfast selection was confusing and could’ve had more veggie options, however the soup and sandwich deal is great value and was lovely

The location is perfect, the bank house will blow your mind away, historically the place is filled with fabulous features that grips you in all its curiosity, instantly, thus comforted by the timeless buildings that surround it, exploring the pier or cutting and winding through the narrow streets is just pure tranquillity, worth every penny! The breakfast served was quite possibly the best full English fry up I have eaten in a long time. All the staff we're very helpful throughout. Wonderful.

The only downside - and it's a minor one - is the limited car parking. Given that this is a grand historic building, in a stunning riverside location, in the middle of the old, cobbled streets quarter of Kings Lynn it's not that surprising that parking isn't right on the doorstep. (And it would be criminal to ruin the look and feel of this unique area of Kings Lynn by turning it into a car park.)

The hotel has a fascinating history and beautiful architecture, combined with modern comforts and tastefully contemporary decor and facilities. The service was friendly and attentive - the manager and his team worked well together, nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb - we had a delicious evening meal, and the choice and quality (and quantity for that matter) at breakfast was far better than anywhere else I've stayed in recent years. All in all a great location for a special celebration or a relaxing holiday. And so close to everywhere of interest in Kings Lynn too - right in the heart of the old town.

One minor point that could have been improved for sight impaired people or other people with disabilities would be having a fob for the main door rather than a key to make getting in easier when it was locked.

There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and the service was very attentive. The location was excellent to explore Kings Lynn. The fact that we could bring the dogs was great.

Sink in the bedroom rather than bathroom due to age of property. No long term parking outside, but bag drop possible Tea bags not replenished for second day Heated towel rail not working (reported)

Breakfast cooked to order. Slow service on Saturday, but better on Sunday. Not a problem if you're not in a rush. Quality and choice of breakfast excellent. Dinner on Saturday night was good, choice was good, quality of ingredients good, presentation excellent Bathroom shower excellent and clean Character of property, keen prices

The Breakfast was incredible. All options were delicious, it was hard to choose. The coffee would be rated at 20 out of 10 it was that good. Fresh orange juice wonderful bread toasted with good butter and we chose Marmalade as a topping. We arrived on Bank Holiday at 7pm so parking was free on the Quay until 8am next morning. When going to pay at the meter we discovered that the first hour was free, so parking on the Quay outside the hotel cost us absolutely nothing. A lot of Councils should copy Kings Lynn's generosity.
