The breakfast was individually chosen and exceptionally well cooked and presented. This is such an impressive 1920 Art Deco style property, it was like staying in a "stately home" into which we were most kindly welcomed.

The location is superb for exploring the surrounding area. The Broads Great Yarmouth etc. We also travelled to Cromer and Southwold Great days out.Fantastic breakfast choice.

Nothing, some people may not like the fact that all rooms are upstairs, but it didn't bother us at all.

The service from beginning to end was fantastic, The couple who own it were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic, this alone is worth booking for. The room was very clean and spacious, with everything we needed.

Perfect place to stay for a lovely break. Welcoming and friendly couple, who couldn't have done any more to make our stay so wonderful. Characteristic house, large, spacious rooms, great peaceful location. Totally recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Great Yarmouth.

Our expectations and requirements were all met. No issues.

We visited Hemsby before arrival, and Gill made us feel very comfortable to check in after 6pm. Andrew greeted us at the door, courteous and welcoming. Very well organised business, with beyond exceptional hygiene and cleanliness. Spacious room, well ventilated. Breakfast was well presented, and tasted lovely. The menu included many different options to choose. Two greetings from Gerty, wishing us a lovely evening on both of our evenings out. Attentive and well mannered just like his amazing owners! Most importantly we felt welcomed, we were free to come and go as we pleased. Spectacular service from both Gill & Andrew. Thank you both very much!

Barnard House is a beautiful property, perfectly located for the racecourse and the main attractions at Great Yarmouth. The hosts are a lovely welcoming couple. Breakfast is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Incredible B&B with welcoming hosts! The pictures we've seen beforehand do not do the property justice, it's stunning inside and out, our room was spacious with a modern en-suite. Everything was super clean and Jill and Andrew are incredible hosts. They serve freshly prepared and very delicious breakfast and cater to different diets (veggie in our case). Honestly, one of the best places we have ever stayed at.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation or the hosts they were very good. I just would have felt comfortable if there was parking in the property instead if street parking as on the first night I parked around the corner rather in front of the property.

Hosts we're lovely. My room was clean and had its own personal shower. The little touches in the room made you feel like you were staying in Spa. The breakfast was good. Good size room and bed.

What a Gem of a find - Jill and her husband so welcoming and friendly- twin room was lovely and what an excellent shower ! Location was perfect really close to the Racecourse and lovely pitch and putt 2 mins drive away - close to town and to the Greyhound stadium - and what a fantastic breakfast! Beautiful

Bathroom looked a little tired in places.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly.

Breakfast was amazing. No problems with asking for Gluten Free (already previously notified). Jill was a delightful host offering guidance about facilities in the area and only allowing us to meet their dog once she had established that we were O.K. with dogs.
