A fantastic character property within the heart of the historic centre. It's the perfect base for exploring, and the owners are incredibly helpful. No lock on bedroom door but as it was a private house and we were on one floor to ourselves perhaps it didn’t matter. Some people might not like you had to go out of your room to get to the bathroom (huge) next door. No tv but didn’t bother us. Some walls just needed a fresh lick of paint in my opinion. Room was huge enough to have a couple of comfy chairs.

Easy to get to and great to be able to park in zone 1 if you drive. 10 minute walk into city centre. Genuinely different quirky room from a modern Airbnb. Bedroom and bathroom were huge. Host very friendly. Nice personal touches like a fridge, bottled water, 2 delicious boxes of biscuits, bottle of Prosecco, toiletries.

Nothing, everything was wonderful!

The property is in a great location, just a 10-minute walk to the city centre. It is a stunning property, an authentic Georgian house, very well kept and has lots of character. The host was amazing and very attentive, ensuring we had enough supplies to last us for our stay, he also ensured to check our preferences for milk. There was a mini fridge in the room with water and milk for us which was very thoughtful. The room itself was a lovely bedroom with a 4-post bed, very comfortable. Great en-suite bathroom and a lovely spacious living area space in the room next to this which was lovely to relax in and watch TV at the end of a long day exploring.

We had the most wonderful comfortable stay, an enormous bathroom with beautiful hot water, super comfortable bed which resulted in the best nights sleep for quite some time. Teas, coffee, milk, hairdryer, ample plugs and warmth were all provided.

Location was perfect for ease of accessing the town with only a short walk. Finding the property was easy for a first time visit and parking advice was perfect. Peter was brilliant with advice on places to visit, eat and advised he was always on hand should we need him.

Very handy to all of Bath's attractions. We had the whole second floor of a beautiful period house. Massive room and the biggest bathroom I have ever seen.

We had a fantastic weekend away at the property. We loved the beautiful spacious living room and very cosy sofa and amazing natural lighting. In the bedroom I was very impressed with the very comfortable bed (best night sleep I’ve had in ages) everything was easy, nice and clean. Fantastic location just a short walk to the city centre very easy to get back and forth it makes a perfect base plenty to see and do and loads of nice places to eat/drink and shop. Pete was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed and he has a great knowledge of the local area as-well as interesting history of the property. As a host we could not fault him he was lovely , easy to communicate with through the booking process and very accommodating 10/10. We are excited to return in the future and have also reccomend to our friends and family. I would definitely recommend booking if you are looking for somewhere comfortable and walking distance to the town. Thanks again Pete and Liza! - Emily and Ben

Fantastic building, it really felt like going into Georgian Bath. It was really interesting and atmospheric.

I booked this for a long weekend with my girlfriend. When I arrived I was greeted by Pete who gave us a full tour of the floor and even recommended me with local restaurants for the evening which I’d highly recommend! The building is located in the heart of bath and would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Very cramped in the bedroom, bedroom may have been better in the larger front room. There was no security for leaving valuables in the room.

The property was absolutely filthy. We left early and had a full refund from the owner. The apartment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in several months. There was plastic glasses on the fireplace with left over wine and dead flies. There was cat’s poo in the fireplace. The bathroom was disgusting, there was stains in the toilet and dried toothpaste in the sink. The doors, handles and light switches were covered in dirty handprints and stains. I really feel like the previous reviews are fake. The property was new to booking.com, to have bookings and reviews to soon should have raised suspicions.

The location was great.
