Old building, so no lift, be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. Very uncomfortable square toilet seat, poorly designed. We found this in several hotels and Inns in Scotland. If you're from the US, the hotels in the UK do not provide wash cloths, so we always bring our own; I don't know how they wash their face and body?

Nicely decorated old Inn right on the oceanfront. We had a sea view room that had a bay window with a fantastic view. Very friendly accommodating staff. The dining area is in a very nice glass atrium overlooking the water. Limited seating, so make sure you book your dinner and breakfast times when you check in, or before you arrive; try to reserve a table by the seaside windows. Dinner was very good, nice selection and reasonably priced. The breakfast was very good with an adequate selection of continental items, full breakfast options, and most anything you want made to order, nicely prepared. Convenient on-site parking in front of the hotel.

Requested a ground floor room. Unfortunately were on the top floor Room and views stunning but had 41 stairs to reach our room and being elderly was not so easy

The fish wallpaper (just personal), as I have a phobia of fish and found it quite difficult to pretend they were not there lol.

It was very clean and the staff were all very nice and helpful. They took time to speak to us and ensure that everything was good.

Would have appreciated bottled water in the room, plus a box of tissues. Plus the bathroom could do with a shelf or two as there is very little space for ones toiletries.

Only downside was no elevator, but I can't exactly rate them poorly for this. They just don't have one so had to carry the pram up and down the stairs. But that's not their problem 😁 they even offered to help!

Clean and tidy (a must) Great location. Price was very reasonable and an excellent breakfast included in the price. Staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. Oh and those little haggis wellingtons were to die for!!!!

An added seating area inside to eat would have been ideal along with a bigger TV in the room.

The views from this accomodation were spectacular! Lovely warm welcome from Russell at reception. Hot tub was ready to go on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best I've had in a long time over looking the sea. The girls who serve breakfast were lovely.

The mirror in our bedroom was set too high on the wall and there needed to be a shelf in the bathroom. Our windown rattled (it was very windy) but we jammed it with a bit of cardboard.

Stunning views from our bedroom and dining room. Hotel was very clean and well presented and had friendly and efficient staff. Great location. There were gorgeous toiletries in the bathroom.

We think there could have been a couple more choices on the main menu.

We liked everything about Bayswell Park Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room and shower room were immaculate; the breakfasts were very good with a good choice; we thought the menu for the evening meal was a little short but what we had was well cooked and delicious; the bar and lounge were welcoming.

Nothing - it was super!

The location is the most beautiful cliffside position with nothing between our room and the sea. Decor all fresh and quirky. The dinner we had was superb with the most stunning views. Staff could not be nicer or more friendly from reception to dinner to the housekeeping and maintenance guy we met on way out. Cannot recommend highly enough.
