The bedroom was disappointingly small and the promised sea view was very limited.

It was very well situated with the sea just across the road. The restaurant overlooked the sea. The staff were delightful and the breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom modern.

Creaky floors so we were woken up in the morning with other guests/staff.

Very friendly staff, lovely decor and dinner was very tasty (we had the fish and chips) Our dog Lola was totally spoilt and beach right on the doorstep. Would recommend!

Problem in bedroom not much room at the sides . Breakfast not that good bacon over cooked hard Cheap sausage not good quality black pudding not nice. My scrambled eggs were very bad too white rubbery lady on next table was saying the same to her partner.. very disappointed.

Walls were quite thin, you could hear other guests/staff moving around. Maybe offer continental breakfast options earlier than 7:30 for people who are early birds Dinner options could be extended, more choice

Friendly staff who were very helpful, these include - Honour & Zara on reception. Dave the barman, Julie the breakfast lady, housekeepers Shelly & Ange, great breakfast from Tony, Dean & Hayden Having the opportunity to use the Beach Club at the caravan park was a brilliant, really made our stay as we had taken part in a 100km cycle sportive starting from Bamburgh. Lots of plugs in the room so really handy to charge phones/laptops, use hairdryer etc Dogs are allowed to stay too!

Fantastic location looking out over the Farne islands .Food was lovely if menu is a bit limited.Staff nice but need more than one on receiption at busy times twenty five mins to check in a bit much.Room clean and compact but smelt a bit of dirty mop.Couldn't turn heating off and as on ground floor only window was a French door so couldn’t leave open .The hotel needs some serious sound proofing noise from room above awful as was the door slamming and general corridor noise .This was the sixth night of a tour we were doing ie new hotel each night and we didn’t experience this noise level in any of our previous accomadation.

A couple of small issues which we mentioned on check out. Nothing to stop us staying again.

Very nice hot breakfast with good quality ingredients and choice. Excellent location with free parking. Comfortable beds and good towels. Complimentary tea and coffee very good in rooms.

We stayed 4 nights and could have done with a daily clean in our room, especially with sand on the floor and also bin not emptied when full

All staff were very friendly and more than accommodating with our dog. Bed was very comfortable. Lounge, bar and breakfast areas were also very nice. Cocktail hour was a particular highlight of our stay. Plenty of breakfast choices and food really tasty.

Breakfast, 1st morning cooked breakfast was barely warm, 2nd morning kippers were over cooked on top and raw on the inside, changed for poached egg and bacon on toast. Waited 20 minutes initially to order.

Our only real concern was the size of our room. There was little space to move around and as my husband had mobility issues at the time it was a little awkward for him to move around in the limited space.

Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness was exceptional. Tastefully decorated light and airy. Comfortable seating area in the lounge. The food was lovely both breakfast and evening meal.
