Sadly the Room had some snags - broken shower screen rubber hanging off, plug socket loose, TV speaker blown/muffled sound. No still water in room only sparkling Everything else was super.

Great to return to this friendly well appointed hotel. The location rates 10/10 we enjoyed the breakfast very much. The room was very good. Glad to see the hotel keeps up their excellent ent standars

The evening menu in the resturant was not to our taste. No aircon in the room but it was ok with the windows open. You needed to be careful on the stairs as they were shallow treads.

The room and the view were excelent. We could see the sea across the outside bar but the noise level was acceptable and the bar was closed before 10 pm. We were made to feel welcome and all the staff were really helpful - just what you need on holiday.

The downstairs rooms have small bathrooms and the baths would be difficult for people with mobility issues as the sides are high. The pillows need replacing.

The location next to the beach was fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Had no towels when we arrived had to go and get them and had a broken hairdryer which was replaced promptly. Couldn't get the bathroom towel rail to heat up.

The breakfast was good, a little confusing as we thought on the first morning we couldn't have continental items as it said they were available 7-7.30 turned out we could order them anyway. The hotels position is excellent.

The shower floor was a bit slippery. We used a towel on the base to avoid an accident. Would like anti-slide strips added to base.

Staff was very friendly. Appreciated having them bring our luggage up and down the stairs for us. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed their outdoor cafe. We also appreciated having the fan as it cooled the room nicely.

Maybe the pillows could be a little softer but we still slept well.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was fantastic, had a sea view and the bed was so comfortable that we both had a good night's sleep. The towels were large and soft. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Of most note was how very nice all the staff were.

Our room was on the second floor and we both found the very steep and narrow staircase problematic to navigate; especially when taking our cases up and/or down. Our room was clean but wasn't serviced to the extent we anticipated. Only one can of sparkling water on arrival which was not replenished. A distinct lack of electrical sockets; in fact there was a table lamp on one bedside cabinet, but nowhere to plug it in.

Staff at The Beachcroft were all extremely polite, friendly and helpful; breakfast was excellent and the bar prices were very reasonable. We especially enjoyed sitting at Blakes in the open air where once again the staff were great.
